Dacic to Pristina: You are child of former US administration (Tanjug, TV Pink, B92)

Serbian Foreign Affairs Minister Ivica Dacic told TV Pink if Pristina wishes to reach a compromise with Belgrade it cannot put forward maximal requests, such as the one on Kosovo recognition.

Commenting on latest Brussels meeting and Hashim Thaci’s statements after it, Dacic said it was a performance for the Kosovo public, given that entire Pristina leadership came to Brussels.

Dacic: Important to find common interest with USA (BETA, TV Prva, TV Most)

Serbian Foreign Affairs Minister Ivica Dacic said it is important to find a common interest with the USA so they would be ready to support Serbia’s idea to reach a compromise solution on Kosovo, Serbian media reported.

Dacic told TV Prva that next week one century since the Serbian flag was displayed on the White House would be marked and Serbian PM Brnabic would be there, while the USA Vice President Mike Pence and State Secretary Mike Pompeo should also attend the ceremony.

FM Dacic met Head of OSCE Mission in Kosovo (Serbian Government, B92)

First Deputy Prime Minister and Serbian Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic spoke on Friday with the Head of the OSCE Mission in Kosovo, Ambassador Jan Braathu.

The Serbian Government announced this and said they have discussed "the activities of the Mission and issues of importance for monitoring the situation on the ground."

FM Dacic says Serbia is aware of Pristina's "secret list" (TV Prva, Telegraf, B92)

Ivica Dacic says Serbia is aware of Pristina's secret document - a list of countries to be pressed to change their (negative) stance on Kosovo's independence.

Also, Pristina plans to exert pressure on these countries in order to gain membership in certain international organizations, and there is in addtion a list of countries in charge of applying that pressure.

Slovak Defense Minister Gajdos reiterates firm stance on Kosovo (Serbian Government, B92)

First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic on Friday spoke with Slovak Defense Minister Peter Gajdos.

According to the Serbian government, Dacic and Gajdos "assessed that bilateral relations of the two countries are traditionally good and friendly."

The officials "expressed mutual satisfaction with the intense and continuous political dialogue at all levels, and expressed interest in further deepening all aspects of bilateral, especially military cooperation."

Foreign Minister and First Deputy PM Ivica Dacic says Kosovo looks like the task of Sisyphus - "but we can never give up."

"It's not a phrase, that's the essence," Dacic wrote in an op-ed penned for the tabloid Kurir.

"All of us who are in power, but also those who are now the opposition, have the responsibility - however Tadic, and Djilas, and Jeremic all seem to have forgotten the meaning of the word," he said.

Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic says he was not surprised by the news of the elimination of roaming charges between Kosovo and Albania.

As Dacic told reporters at the Foreign Ministry on Thursday, "this is nothing new, but something that has been happening for a number of decades and centuries - the desire to establish a Greater Albania."
