Opposition leader files criminal charges against Serbia’s President in respect to Kosovo (N1)

Regional broadcaster N1 reports that the head of the opposition Dveri Movement Bosko Obradovic said he had filed criminal charges against Serbia’s President Aleksandar Vucic who he said violated the Penal Code in his meeting with the US senators last week, N1 reported.

Obradovic specified that Vucic had breached the Articles 305, 306, 307 and 320 of the country’s Penal Code in respect to Kosovo.

Serbian opposition condemns Vulin’s statement on delimitation – another criminal charge announced (BETA, KoSSev)

The statement of the Serbian Minister of Defense, Aleksandar Vulin that “delimitation with the Albanians should take place as soon as possible” caused an intense reaction among Serbian opposition on Sunday, BETA news agency reports.

Dveri MPs almost caused incident in Serbian Parliament over Kosovo (BETA)

Member of opposition Alliance for Serbia (SzS) Dveri Movement MPs Bosko Obradovic and Marija Janusevic raised the banners saying, “No Division, No Surrender”, “You Betrayed Kosovo” and “Kosovo is Serbia” at the beginning of a meeting of the Serbian National Assembly Committee for Kosovo and Metohija, BETA news agency reported. The banners also included “One in Five Million” slogan used by the civic protests across Serbia.

Dveri supports Serbian Orthodox Church message on Kosovo (Tanjug, RTS)

Dveri Movement welcomed stance of the Serbian Orthodox Church on Kosovo that preservation of Kosovo and Metohija as an integral part of Serbia is the most important national topic for all, RTS reported.

“We believe that anyone who would turn a deaf ear to the Holly Assembly message on Kosovo, would not only turn a deaf ear to the Serbian Orthodox Church, but would by renouncing Kosovo and Metohija for the sake of Serbia’s path to the EU, literally annul himself from the Serbian history,” Dveri Movement press statement said.

Serbian opposition parties Dveri and It is Enough Movement requested an extraordinary Assembly session dedicated to “international pressure upon state bodies of the Republic of Serbia related to negotiations and the situation in Kosovo and Metohija,” KoSSev portal reported.  

They requested the presence of the Serbian Prime Minister, Ana Branbic, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ivica Dacic, Minister of Interior, Nebojsa Stefanovic and Serbian Government Office for Kosovo Director, Marko Djuric to respond to the questions from MPs.

Dveri: It is necessary to organize referendum on Kosovo (BETA, B92)

It is necessary to organize a referendum in Serbia with a clear question, do you support that Kosovo and Metohija remain in its own state, Dveri Movement announced, Serbian media reported.

Leader of the Dveri Movement, Bosko Obradovic, while presenting the conclusions of the roundtable on the current situation in Kosovo, said he will launch an initiative to establish a working group to prepare acts and documents for the defence of Kosovo and Metohija within the state of Serbia.
