Vukcevic: FBI questioned a witness in case of Bytyqi brothers (Danas)

It is true that representatives of the US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) were involved in the investigation into the murder of the three Bytyqi brothers, as well as in a questioning of a witness in one northern country, but nothing came out of it, a former prosecutor, Vladimir Vukcevic told Belgrade based daily Danas.

Brush: Incidents in Klina should be investigated (Indeksonline)

The Deputy Special Representative of the United Nations Secretary-General, Jennifer Brush, during a visit to Kline/Klina on Wednesday noted her concern for the number of incidents in recent weeks targeting returnees. She urged the authorities to investigate swiftly to bring the perpetrators to justice, and to take measures to prevent such incidents from happening again.  On 11 May in Klina, Bogosav Dabizljevic, Serb returnee, was attacked and robbed by several people and suffered three broken ribs during the incident.

Brush concerned over recent incidents in Kline/Klina (Tanjug, RTS, NMagazin, KIM radio, TV Most, Kontakt plus radio)

Deputy Special Representative of the UN Interim Administration Mission in Kosovo (UNMIK), Jennifer Brush has stressed her concern over the number of incidents in recent weeks targeting people returning to their homes in Kline/Klina, central Kosovo, UNMIK has stated.

She called on the authorities to investigate the events, bring the culprits to justice and take steps to prevent such incidents in the future.

Serb returnee Bogosav Dabizljevic was attacked and robbed in Kline/Klina on May 11, suffering three broken ribs in the process.

Brush: Kosovo without a defined status is not good (RTS,Blic, B92, NMagazin,RTK2,TV Most)

The Deputy Head of UNMIK, Jennifer Brush said today that Kosovo without a specific status is not good for the people who live in it, whether Albanians are in question or non-Albanians.

Brush said in an interview in the program "Slobodni Srpski" (Free Serbian), that she hoped that the dialogue in Brussels would help to come to the normalization of relations between Serbia and Kosovo in order to live normally.

Djuric today at the meeting in Gracanica about Community/Association of Serbian municipalities (TV Most)

The Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Marko Djuric will participate today in Gracanica at the round table "Decentralization and Serbian communities in Kosovo and Metohija", which will be dedicated to the implementation of the Brussels Treaty and establishing of the Community/Association of Serbian municipalities.

Displaced in Djakovica/Gjakova on 14 February (Kossev)

In a written reply to KoSSev, representative of the Association of Displaced from Djakovica/Gjakova, Simonida Ašanin, said that the next visit to Đakovica/Gjakova due to memorial service is planned for 14 February.

Displaced Serbs from this city, meanwhile, had a meeting with the US Ambassador in Kosovo, Tracey Ann Jacobson, as well as with the Deputy Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the UN in Kosovo, Jennifer Brush. As Ašanin added, talks with the subject of the rights of Serbs in Kosovo and in Djakovica/Gjakova are still ongoing.

Jennifer Brush appointed to UNMIK (Tanjug, Blic)

PRISTINA - Jennifer Brush, former Director of the Office of South Central European Affairs at the US Department of State, has been appointed as Deputy Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General in Kosovo.

The decision to appoint Brush was announced by UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon on Wednesday, UNMIK said in a statement.

Brush succeeded Robert Sorenson of the United States on September 1, the statement said. The UN Secretary-General said that he is grateful to Sorenson for his contribution to UNMIK.
