Vukcevic: FBI questioned a witness in case of Bytyqi brothers (Danas)

It is true that representatives of the US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) were involved in the investigation into the murder of the three Bytyqi brothers, as well as in a questioning of a witness in one northern country, but nothing came out of it, a former prosecutor, Vladimir Vukcevic told Belgrade based daily Danas.

One of the former KLA commanders, Rustem Mustafa-Remi should be one of the first to be questioned before the Special Prosecutor's Office.

Former Serbian War Crimes Prosecutor Vladimir Vukcevic told Belgrade based TV Prva that he is satisfied that the prosecution started working, and that it was founded because it is about the most monstrous crimes committed in the territory of the former Yugoslavia.

"I'm neither interested in nor affected by US decision" (B92, RFE)

Goran "Guri" Radosavljevic has told Radio Free Europe (RFE) that he is "neither interested in nor affected by the decision of the US State Department."

The decision in question banns the former commander of the Serbian Gendarmerie from entering the United States.

It was previously announced that the decision was made because of Radosavljevic's (alleged) involvement in the case of the Bytyqi brothers. The same decision applies to his wife and daughter.

Experts on Ramush Haradinaj’s release: War crimes cannot be outdated (Insajder.net)

Kosovo ex-prime minister and one of the leaders of the former Kosovo Liberation Army, Ramush Haradinaj, whose extradition to Serbia was denied by the French Court in Colmar, could still be tried for war crimes, experts say.

Despite the fact that, on Thursday, the Colmar Court decided not to extradite Haradinaj to Serbia, he could still face trial because there is no statute for limitation when it comes to war crimes, Vladimir Vukcevic, former Serbian Prosecutor for war crimes, told Insajder.

Berisha, who was a refugee from Kosovo and a witness in the Hague Tribunal's war crimes case against Ramush Haradinaj, made his statement to investigators in Podgorica, Montenegro, on May 11, 2004.
