The leader of the Serbian List Aleksandar Jablanović yesterday stated that negotiation process between Belgrade and Pristina must not be jeopardized, and voiced hope that European Union will realize where the obstruction of the Brussels dialogue is coming from.

Jablanović said that it is quite normal in any negotiations between two opposed sides, that agreement is not always reached, however negotiation process should not be jeopardized after the last round of negotiations between Belgrade and Pristina in Brussels.

Pristina refused to agree on telecommunications and the Community/Association of Serbian municipalities. Serbia is ready to continue the negotiations, but so far there is no exact date for the resumption of dialogue in Brussels, Djuric notes.

Marko Djuric, visiting the RTS, said that Pristina has not been interested to reach an agreement and that at one point it looked as if the talks would be suspended.

Following the last round of marathon negotiations with the representatives of the EU and Pristina Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vučić stated that agreement was not reached over any topic they discussed. Kosovo Prime Minister, Isa Mustafa, stated that progress was achieved when it comes to the Association/Community of Serb municipalities (A/CSM), and that his delegation could not accept requests on executive powers of the A/CSM, since it would go against the Kosovo Constitution and laws.

The talks in Brussels on Monday were very difficult, another step forward has been taken and now it is important that those who are playing a very important role in the Western Balkans, namely the international community and the European Union above all, exert additional pressure on Pristina in order to finalize the agreement, Kosovo deputy PM Branimir Stojanovic said to International Radio Serbia.

German Ambassador Heinz Wilhelm says it would be a good move if PM Aleksandar Vucic went to Srebrenica, especially because of reconciliation in the region.

"I think it's a positive gesture. All peoples here have to be willing to accept responsibility and guilt. Germany took the blame after the Second World War. Simply, we must accept history," Wilhelm, who is leaving his post in Belgrade after three years, told B92 in an interview.

In an interview for Deutsche Welle in Albanian Prime Minister of Kosovo Isa Mustafa said that his official visit to Germany was very important because Germany is a powerful country that has invested a great deal in Kosovo. “Germany is a country that has supported us a lot in the process of dialogue with Serbia by setting certain principles and asking for implementation of agreements reached in Brussels”.

Kosovo’s minister without portfolio and head of Pristina negotiating team, Edita Tahiri, announced that the barricade on the River Iber bridge will be removed by 1 October and the first stage of pedestrian movement will begin at that time. According to Tahiri, the other part of the agreement to enable car traffic through the bridge will be implemented at a later stage. She said this was the proposal of the EU and added that the Kosovo side has agreed to it.

The meeting between the German Chancellor, Angela Merkel and the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Isa Mustafa in Berlin, is over. Merkel and Mustafa discussed the bilateral relations, situation in Kosovo, Kosovo’s relations with the EU as well as the dialogue between Pristina and Belgrade.

The EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini said early Tuesday after another round of the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue that the text of two agreements has been finalised.

A new round of dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina ended without agreement after 17 hours of talks, a B92 reporter in Brussels has said.
Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic told journalists that the two delegations reached no agreement on any of the four issues they discussed.
Vucic said that the delegations were very close to reaching an agreement on the future Community Serb municipalities (CSM).
