Protest in front of the Monument of Gratitude to France (KIM radio)

The Association of Families of Kidnapped and Murdered in Kosovo will protest today in front of the Monument of Gratitude to France, located in Kalemegdan in Belgrade, due to the decision of the court in Colmar not to deliver Haradinaj to Serbia.

The protest will start at 12:44.

The statement adds that the refusal of a request for extradition of Ramush Haradinaj presents a big blow for the victims' families and that the process broached all over again old wounds.

 

North Mitrovica: Serbs protested over Haradinaj acquittal (KIM radio)

KiM radio reports that the citizens of North Mitrovica held protest last night, expressing disatisfaction over the decision of the French court to acquit former KLA leader Ramush Haradinaj.

Gathering of citizens began about 19 hours in the city center.

The crowd carried Serbian flags and placards reading "Haradinaj criminal", "Serbia Russia", "KLA terrorists" and the like, reported KiM radio.

Ivanović: Threats of war gave the result (KIM radio)

Leader of the CI SDP Oliver Ivanović says that there is no doubt that the decision of the court in Colmar is political.

He told RTV KiM that from the beginning of the process he did not believe that Haradinaj's case will be solved by legal means.

"To me it seems that those deciding in the Court of Colmar cared more about what are the potential safety consequences. It is obvious that the threat with war gave the result," said Ivanović to RTV KIM.

 

Haradinaj cannot be extradited to Albania (RTS, KIM radio)

The fact that Ramush Haradinaj has received citizenship of Albania is not essential to the process in Colmar, said Ministry of Justice to RTS, explaining that Haradinaj cannot be sent to Albania only because he acquired the citizenship of that country, because it is not a basis for seeking his extradition.

The Court of Appeal in Colmar after two delays will announce tomorrow the decision on Serbia's request for the extradition of Ramush Haradinaj.

Spahiu: Nonsense of Rama and Thaci (KIM radio, Kontakt Plus radio)

Analyst from Kosovo Nexhmedin Spahiu says that threats of Edi Rama and Hashim Thaçi to the EU on the unification of Albania and Kosovo are nonsense.

Spahiu said that the eventual unification of Kosovo and Albania cannot jeopardize FYROM or Montenegro, let alone Serbia, and that statements of these two officials were funny, he also said that the threat to EU on unification can only make harm to the people of Kosovo and Albania.

Rašić: The Prime Minister does not respect the agreement (KIM radio)

Kosovo Prime Minister Isa Mustafa does not respect the agreement that was made in Brussels, said MP of the Serbian List Nenad Rašić.

Member of the Parliament of Kosovo Nenad Rašić said this commenting the statement of the Prime Minister Isa Mustafa that representatives of the Serbian List are not interested in forming a Community of Serb municipalities.

Office for KiM: Attacks on Serbs planned (KIM radio)

"The attack from last night, in which was injured one Serb, was not isolated incident but a planned action with the clear intention to disrupt the delicate security balance in Kosovo and Metohija," said the Office for Kosovo and Metohija.

From the Office say that it is essential that the police and other security factors in Kosovo, and international missions, to reinforce activities and take preventive steps to ensure the safety of citizens and prevent violence.

 

Unacceptable behaviour of MP Haradinaj (KIM radio)

Member of the Assembly of Kosovo Jasmina Živković says that it is unacceptable for MP to use the parliamentary rostrum and blame the whole nation for the legal process. She referred to the Daut Haradinaj's address at the session of the Kosovo parliament.

Živković says that while listening to the translation in the Assembly, she has understood that Daut Haradinaj has confirmed that he knowingly has made the statement to the local television last week.
