Serbian mobile operator still did not apply for a license to operate in Kosovo (Politika)

President of the Regulatory Authority of Electronic and Postal Communications in Kosovo Ekrem Hoxha said today that from Serbia has not arrived any request for a third mobile operator in Kosovo as agreed by the Agreement on telecommunications between Pristina and Belgrade. Deadline for submitting request, under the Agreement, is November 15 while the obligation of the Regulatory Authority was, until January 15, to give licence to operate in Kosovo, Hoxha said.

Serb wounded last night in shooting in Mitrovica North (Kontakt Plus Radio)

A person of Serbian nationality was wounded in a shooting that took place in Mitrovica North last night. The case was characterized by a prosecutor as the attempted murder.

The head of Regional Kosovo Police Operation Unit Željko Bojić said to Kontakt Plus Radio that wounded person V.M. (32) was admitted to hospital in Mitrovica North.

She stressed that even last year Pristina imposed budget to the municipality of North Mitrovica. If it also happens this year, the planned capital investments in the city will be hardly achievable.

Former MUP officers from Kosovo announce protest and blockade of Jarinje (Kontakt Plus Radio)

Former employees of the Serbian Ministry of Internal Affairs (MUP) in Kosovo, requesting that they status is settled, announced protest in North Mitrovica today and one hour blockade of the crossing Jarinje in North Kosovo.

Employees' representative Rajko Šekularac said that the protest will take place at 11 in front of the Serbian Government’s Office for Kosovo and Meothija premises in North Mitrovica, and that they will block crossing Jarnije in North Kosovo for one hour following the protest.

The spokesperson of the Mitrovica regional police, Avni Zahiti, confirmed the news for KALLXO.com. “She is suspected to have issued identification cards for Serbian citizens without possessing original certificates, but only copies,” Zahiti said.
