The President of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, said today that the issue of the wall would not be discussed with Belgrade authorities, because it is an internal issue of Kosovo.

Thaçi made these statements in front of the monument of Zahir Pajaziti, and added that “As a state, we are very much aware that today is the last day of the deadline deriving from the Resolution of the Assembly of Kosovo, which has to be respected with preciseness.”

The arrest warrant issued for Kosovo President Hashim Thaci is still valid in Serbia, "as the procedure against him is ongoing," says the justice minister.

"There has already been a final ruling in the process against Thaci, for the crime of terrorism," Nela Kuburovic said on Wednesday, and added:

The President of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, honored today 84 Kosovo Serbs of Hoçë e Madhe/Velika Hoča, Rahovec municipality, who lost their lives during 1998-2000. “We have just placed flowers at this commemorative plaque of 84 Kosovo Serb citizens. We are here today to remember and pray for the victims during and after the war, regardless their nationality,” Thaçi said.

Almost two years since the Kosovo parliament adopted the law on the establishment of the Special War Crimes Court, Pristina was visited by recently elected special prosecutor of the court David Schwendiman, where he spoke with the Chief Prosecutor Aleksandar Ljumezi.

President of Kosovo, Hashim Thaci, called today a meeting of the National Council for European Integration and said that special effort need to be made to finalise the visa liberalization process as quickly as possible. He said that the current situation regarding the inability of the people of Kosovo to travel freely to European countries is “unjustifiable”.

The TV station reports that Kosovo’s President, Hashim Thaci, will give a press conference today at 15:00 hours. According to Klan Kosova, Thaci will call on Kosovo’s judiciary, namely the state prosecution, to shed light on the murder attempt on late President Ibrahim Rugova and several post-war killings that were often qualified as politically-motivated.
