LDK has no major complaints regarding election process

Representatives of the LDK told a press conference today that the voter turnout so far is the biggest argument that Kosovo is heading towards democracy. According to them, there are no major irregularities with the election process. Florian Dushi told media that they received some reports on technical irregularities, but nothing major to hinder the election process.

Koha: Several buses with 150 Serbs headed to Kosovo from Belgrade

Citing unidentified sources, Koha news website reports that several buses with around 150 K-Serbs currently residing in Serbia, were headed today towards Kosovo to cast their ballots in parliamentary election. The news website also reports that the government of Serbia is pressuring the K-Serbs to vote for Serbian List. Naim Rexha, deputy director of Kosovo Police, told Koha that everything was under control. “It is their right to come and vote. We do not see it as pressure,” Rexha said.

KFOS: We have received 1000 messages for irregularities (Klan Kosova)

Visare Aliu from the Kosovo Foundation for Open Society said that until 10:30 today, they received about 1000 messages reporting irregularities within the election process. "It's the third time we're organizing the 'Vote and Observe' campaign. We started with this campaign to allow all citizens to send free text messages and report any irregularities they may notice,” she said.

Election observing NGOs report a case of photographing the vote in Shtërpcë/Strpce (Klan Kosova)

The election observing NGOs – KDI, INPO and GLPS – through a press statement today announced that in Shtërpcë/Strpce polling station 2306D/03D, one person was caught taking a picture of the vote. The person, belonging to K-Serb community, was detained and interviewed by the Kosovo Police. The news was confirmed by Kosovo prosecution and KP during a press conference today.

Advanced force of Kosovo withdrew from the elections (RTK2)

RTK 2 reports that party Advanced force of Kosovo dropped from the upcoming early parliamentary elections.

President of this party Aleksandar Grujić said that decision came because of the "unstable political situation and the appeal of President of Serbia Aleksandra Vučić to Serbs in Kosovo, to show solidarity and political unity with the state of Serbia".

He also said that he and his colleagues want to show that "there are Serbs for who the interest of the state of Serbia comes first".
