Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic described the response of the British Embassy in Pristina to President Aleksandar Vucic's criticism as "utterly hypocritical."

Dacic told Belgrade based daily Tanjug that anyone who sits with the future prime minister of the so-called Kosovo with the Albanian flag thus supports his publicly demonstrated aspiration to create a "Greater Albania."

He said that the ambassador should not arrange party rooms, but "may refuse to sit there, as some other ambassadors have done".

Political analyst Dusan Janjic said today that ideas to declare Srpska Lista illegitimate or terrorist represent a new nonsense coming from Pristina and evidence that there is still much Albanian extremism in Kosovo and Metohija, Tanjug news agency reports.

“When it comes to the score of Srpska Lista it is not disputable based on the laws and those 3.700 votes of displaced Serbs cannot change their electoral result,” Janjic told Tanjug, adding that the attempts to discredit Srpska Lista are as same as shooting from an empty gun.

Serbian Government Office for Kosovo and Metohija Director Marko Djuric said today decision of the Central Election Commission in Pristina to deny right to Serbs to cast the vote with Serbian ID cards, respectively, with valid personal documents runs contrary to the applicable laws that Pristina made itself and represents an attempt to politically “erase the Serbs from Kosovo and Metohija,” with an administrative instruction, Kosovo-online portal reports.

Serbia’s Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic said on Wednesday that Belgrade counted on the US help and its wish to be constructive regarding the dialogue with Pristina on the normalisation of relations, but that Washington should “push” Pristina into the reason, the Beta news agency reported.

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic told Belgrade based TV Prva that he was extremely happy that Ksenija Bozovic (CI SDP) had decided to join the Serbian List.

"I am very happy because of Ksenija Bozovic and others who have joined the Serbian List and the most important is the unity which opposes the attempts of Albanians and part of the international community and those who support the destruction of that unity," Vucic emphasized.

Civic Initiative Freedom, Democracy, Justice (GI SDP) assessed today that 19 months since the murder of their leader Oliver Ivanovic, investigative bodies in Pristina only create impression they are working on the case, adding “that in Mitrovica North neither street nor a square were named after Oliver Ivanovic,” despite strong promises “of Belgrade authorities”, BETA news agency reported.

Srpska Lista Deputy Chair Igor Simic told RTS the pressure on Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija would continue as parliamentary elections would approach.

Speaking for the RTS news edition, Simic noted arrests of the Serbs represent an attempt to create an artificial balance because the Special Court started summoning former KLA members. He added, Srpska Lista deemed the government in Pristina has fallen a year ago, when a series of acts aiming to intimidate the Serbs has commenced.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel said the dark clouds lean over Belgrade-Pristina dialogue after Kosovo introduced tariffs on the Serbian goods, Tanjug news agency reports.

Talking to news correspondents in Berlin, Merkel emphasized that Germany has a major interest for European integration “of Serbia and Kosovo” there is a progress on that way, but as she underlined, it is necessary to restore the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina.

Serbian Foreign Affairs Minister met in Washington with US National Security Adviser John Bolton, RTS reports. Dacic said he has received during the meeting “very good remarks” on what Serbia is doing regarding Kosovo.

Speaking for the RTS main news edition, Dacic noted the meeting with Bolton proved that Kosovo issue is high on the list of foreign policy priorities of the US President.

Without disclosing the details of the meeting, Dacic added “the meeting was extremely useful.”

Message of the US State Department official Philip Reeker that the US is ready to get involved in the process of Belgrade-Pristina dialogue diplomatic sources unofficially assessed as “America’s direct reaction” to the public initiative of French President Emmanuel Macron to return the two sides to the negotiation table as soon as possible, including Macron’s effort to organize a new meeting on Kosovo in Paris in September, Danas daily reports.
