Kosovo to sign legal aid agreement with Hungary (KosovaPress)

Kosovo’s Justice Minister, Hajredin Kuci, and State Secretary of the Ministry of Justice of Hungary, Barna Berke will sign today an agreement on mutual legal assistance in criminal matters. This is the first field of international legal cooperation that both parties sign to proceed further with the negotiation of agreements on extradition and transfer of sentenced persons. With this agreement the parties undertake the provision of mutual legal assistance in criminal proceedings that are taking place in Kosovo and Hungary.

Kuci urges Greece to recognize Kosovo (Telegrafi)

Kuci: Draft on special court doesn't guarantee equality (RTKLive)

Kosovo Minister of Justice Hajredin Kuqi, on Wednesday briefed the Committee on Legislation regarding the "Special court, the process of preparing the legislation and its constitutionality." Kuci said that he assumes that the headquarters of the special court will be in the Netherlands but, still there is no agreement with the state. Whereas for the special chambers of this court, Kuci said that he will insist that these chambers remain in Kosovo.

Kuci: Final phase for integration of judicial system in the north (RTK)

Kosovo’s Minister of Justice Hajredin Kuci said today that Kosovo’s institutions are in the final phase of reaching an agreement for the integration of the judiciary from the north in Kosovo’s judicial system. “I expect the agreement to be reached in early January. This will imply full integration in the judicial system of the Republic of Kosovo,” he said. According to Kuci, in 2016, Kosovo will have full capacities to take over full responsibilities in the judiciary.

Kuci: Special Court depends on EU-Netherlands negotiations (Indeksonline)
