Chair of Srpska Lista, Goran Rakic stated that Srpska Lista will not attend the consultations about the date of a constitutive session of the Kosovo Assembly.

“As a chair of the Srpska Lista I thank you for the invitation to attend the consultations about the date of a constitutive session of the Kosovo Assembly and I may announce Srpska Lista will not attend that meeting. MPs from Srpska Lista would reply to the call to verify their mandates in line with the law, but we do not want Serb MPs and the population to be placed between hammer and anvil,” Rakic stated.

North Mitrovica Mayor Goran Rakić said that without the Serbian list impossible to form a government in Pristina, and that some Albanian parties already make plans without taking this into account. North Mitrovica Mayor Goran Rakić says on the occasion of the latest threats of Ramush Haradinaj that it is not in the interest of the Albanian people also to be represented by those who advocate hatred and violence and called on the international community to respond to threats of Albanian leaders, which do not contribute to the stability of Kosovo.

Mitrovica North citizens protested today in front of the Police Station in the north, due to the replacement of three Police senior officers.

Mayor of Mitrovica North, Goran Rakic, aslo participated at the protest. He said that he will request withdrawal of these decisions.

The paper also learned that Rakic, together with the Director of the Police there, Nenad Djuric, have requested an urgent meeting with the Kosovo Police General Director, Shpend Maxhuni.
