Most news websites report that Nehat Thaci, the Kosovo Police director for the Mitrovica region, was arrested on Wednesday evening at the Koncul border crossing point between Kosovo and Serbia. The Serbian police have arrested the director of the Kosovo police for the region of Kosovska Mitrovica, Nehat Thaci.

The Serbian Interior Ministry (MUP) confirmed this on Thursday morning.

Thaci was arrested on Wednesday, at around 20:00 CET, at the administrative crossing of Konculj (between Kosovo and central Serbia), on an arrest warrant issued in 2010 for the crime of terrorism, the MUP added.

Frequent thefts in the municipality of Kamenicë/Kamenica (Kossev)

Unknown perpetrators stole two cows and a calf to Dimitrije Jevtić i the village Ajnovce, municipality of Kamenicë/Kamenica.

A Serb attacked in Rahovec/Orahovac (KIM radio)

Seventy two year old Stevan Radić was attacked yesterday in his vineyard in Rahovec/Orahovac. The case was reported to the Kosovo Police.

Radić was attacked after he sent away two Albanian boys from his farm, who had previously stolen nuts.

After that, an unknown person approached him from behind and dealt a blow to the head.

The case was reported to police at the urging of family.
