By gathering evidence during the investigation, we have come to the reasonable suspicion that Radoicic worked with people who are now in custody, and who are suspected of having participated or assisting the perpetrators of the murder of the SDP leader, Oliver Ivanovic. Of course, all this has yet to be confirmed, says the Kosovo Special Prosecutor, Sylë Hoxha to the Belgrade based weekly NIN, KIM radio is quoting.

Kosovo Assembly approved yesterday a resolution sponsored by the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK) calling for suspension of dialogue with Serbia until the party leader, Ramush Haradinaj, is released. Kosovo’s Minister for Dialogue, Edita Tahiri, said the Kosovo side will respect the resolution calling it "fair".

Mitrovica South Mayor Agim Bahtiri told BIRN that due partly to increased political tensions in the northern part of Kosovo, the reopening of the bridge that links the Albanian and the Serb-inhabited parts of the divided city of Mitrovica has been postponed to May. “Problems that arose from the construction of the wall have resulted in the delay. We expect the bridge to be opened in the first ten days of May,” Bahtiri said. Kosovo’s Minister for Dialogue, Edita Tahiri, said the process of reopening the bridge for pedestrians and vehicles is in its final phase.

On Jan. 28, High Representative of the European Union (EU) for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini invited the Serbian and Kosovo prime ministers to attend a new round of talks in Brussels, on Feb. 1. The meeting to be attended by Prime Ministers Aleksandar Vucic and Isa Mustafa is the follow-up to a Jan. 24 meeting in Brussels, attended by Vucic and Mustafa, as well as the Serbian and Kosovo presidents, resulting in an agreement to lower tensions.

Edita Tahiri, Kosovo’s Minister for Dialogue, rejected the claims of Serbia’s Foreign Minister, Ivica  Dačić  with regards to an agreement which halts Kosovo forces operate in the north of Kosovo. “The armed forces and security forces can move in the north without anyone’s permission,” said Tahiri, who had participated at signing of the agreement for normalisation of the relations with Serbia in April 2013.

Kosovo's Minister for Dialogue, Edita Tahiri, said Kosovo authorities should introduce reciprocity measures towards Serbia's arrest warrants against Kosovo citizens. “We need to implement reciprocity measures. At the end of the day, it was Serbia that committed genocide and the most heinous crimes against humanity here,” Tahiri said following the French authorities’ detention of AAK leader Ramush Haradinaj on an arrest warrant issued by Serbia through Interpol.

Kosovo’s Minister for Dialogue, Edita Tahiri, had a telephone conversation last night with European External Action Service Director for Western Europe, Western Balkans and Turkey, Angelina Eichhorst, whom she informed about the attempted attack on Kosovo government premises in Mitrovica North. Tahiri expressed the position of the Kosovo government that such acts are aimed at obstructing the implementation of Brussels agreement and undermining the dialogue for normalization of relations with Serbia.

Kosovo’s Minister for Dialogue, Edita Tahiri stayed at a hotel in Mitrovica North which was later attacked with a bomb. Sasa Dedovic, the owner of the hotel, told Blic: “She [Tahiri] came with an old car, accompanied by a man, and said she stopped to see the rooms where the Serb employees will be accommodated … I kindly asked her to leave because we could face problems and she quickly left. But before doing so she took pictures and said that the office of the Kosovo Government will be opened there.

Kosovo’s Minister for Dialogue, Edita Tahiri, said the European Union should have a “serious conversation” with Serbia after a hand grenade was found by the police in Mitrovica North near the Kosovo government premises. “The attempted attack took place very close to the Government building we inaugurated today,” Tahiri told Klan Kosova. “This attack shows Serbia is countering agreements with grenades and walls,” she added. “European Union guarantees the agreements and should seriously deal with Serbia because this attack is against the entire process.”
