Vucic to Tanin: Kosovo army new Pristina’s provocative measure (Serbian media)

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic told UNMIK Head Zahir Tanin that Serbia would do its utmost to preserve peace and stability, but the situation would significantly deteriorate when Pristina tomorrow, contrary to the international law, makes a decision on establishing the army.

Vucic: Kurz kept his word (Tanjug, B92)

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said that Austria kept its word and sent important messages over the last six months while chairing the EU, Tanjug news agency reported.

“I have to say I am delighted with an energy Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz invested over the last six months in resolving the Balkans issues. Austria understands very well the problems in the Balkans,” President Vucic said.

He added that Austria and Chancellor Kurz in particular, invested great efforts, energy and work to resolve the issues in a peaceful manner.

Serbian President meets with Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi (BETA, Tanjug)

President Aleksandar Vucic met with the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday, Tanjug news agency reports.

They talked about ways of strengthening the cooperation in the economy, trade and development, as well as about current regional and international affairs of mutual interest, and agreed to work together on improving the economic and, in particular, investment partnership between Serbia and the UAE.

"Belgrade and Pristina are to blame, not Mogherini" (Tanjug, B92)

Aleksandar Vucic has rejected Ramush Haradinaj's claim that EU foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini is to blame for the current state of the dialogue.

The Serbian President, who was in the United Arab Emirates on Tuesday when he was asked to comment on Haradinaj's statement that Mogerini is to blame for the collapse of the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue, responded that he disagreed, adding that only Belgrade and Pristina could be blamed for this.

Marko Djuric says that the only one authorized to respond to the measures of the Pristina authorities is "Supreme Commander Aleksandar Vucic."

The director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija pointed out that Vucic, Serbia's President, was "in principle opposed to the use of force, and this would be the last option in the event of the endangering of the lives of Serbs in Kosovo."

Vucic: Pristina plans three new moves (RTS, Tanjug)

Serbia would make decisions on new Pristina’s measures only when and if they are undertaken, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said, Tanjug news agency reported.

Vucic added Pristina plans three new measures and none of them in the long-term is good, even for Ramush Haradinaj who is announcing them. Vucic, however, did not specify what concrete measures could be.

Vucic: I'm convinced there'll be no war (B92, TV Pink)

Speaking about tensions in Kosovo and Metohija after introduction of 100% taxes on goods from Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic says he's convinced there will be no war.

"I do not like to even use that word, it seems to me that people in Pristina today don't understand the scope of the disaster they can cause, and I plead with them try to understand that," the president told TV Pink, and added:

Vucic to Scott: USA to warn Pristina (Tanjug, B92)

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic met Ambassador of United States in Belgrade, Kyle Scott, Tanjug news agency reports.

The two officials discussed the situation in Kosovo and Metohija, and President Vucic urged US to use its political influence and warn Pristina that it is jeopardizing peace and stability in the region with its acts.

“Persistence of Pristina to keep taxes on the goods from central Serbia, and even more announcements on forming an army cause grave concern of Serbia for the future of Serbian people in Kosovo and Metohija,” President Vucic said.

“Give single evidence and we will arrest Radoicic” (Tanjug, B92)

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic told opposition which is alleging Milan Radoicic is a murderer to go to the police if they have evidence for their claims, Tanjug news agency reports.

He added in that case Radoicic would be immediately arrested.

“Just provide a single evidence, not empty stories (…). No one wants to hide a murderer. I hope there would be swift progress in this case, so we can see at the end who was telling the truth and who did not,” Vucic said.

 

Jeremic: Vucic and Thaci met in Rome (BETA, B92)

Leader of Peoples’ Party Vuk Jeremic said a high diplomatic source from an EU country told him that Aleksandar Vucic and Hashim Thaci met in Rome on November 4, BETA news agency reports.

According to Jeremic, Vucic and Thaci agreed there to raise taxes on the goods from central Serbia.

Speaking to the journalists in Kragujevac city, Jeremic further noted everything that came out from raising taxes on the Serbian goods, all tensions that are for the time being kept under control, are planned to remain controlled.
