According to the government political parties, filing a motion to bring down Haradinaj’s government, would not succeed. MPs from the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), told Radio Kosova that such initiatives are not serious at all.

Kosovo’s Minister of Trade and Industry, Bajram Hasani, said to the members of the Kosovo Assembly’s committee on economic development that Kosovo should be represented as a country in the meetings of the Central European Free Trade Agreement (CEFTA) and no longer through UNMIK. “We will review the position on whether to pull out from CEFTA,” Hasani said.

The government of Kosovo has refuted the statement of Serbian Foreign Minister, Ivica Dacic, that Suriname has withdrawn recognition of Kosovo calling it a speculation. Halil Matoshi, media advisor to Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj, said relations with Suriname are good and there is no recognition withdrawal. “The international law does not foresee de-recognition or withdrawal of recognition,” Matoshi said.

Prime Minister of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, said the government of Kosovo will soon adopt a plan on the official position to the issue of dialogue with Serbia and all other  matters of crucial interest. He said this plan would not be under the ownership of either the president of Kosovo or the government but will be put to vote at the Assembly of Kosovo.

The government of Kosovo in its routine meeting today decided to allocate USD 100,000 in support of the coalition against the so-called Islamic state group, ISIS.

Government of Kosovo announced it has appointed members to the commission for border demarcation with Montenegro, after Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj dismissed the last one soon after being elected. The commission will consist of experts Zejnullah Gruda, Martin Berishaj, Hamit Basholli, Florim Isufi and Riza Smaka and chaired by Shpejtim Bulliqi.

Today (Sept. 20) is the 10th day since Ramush Haradinaj became the new prime minister of Kosovo.
