Staro Gracko: Memorial plaque to Serb victims desecrated (RTK2, KIM radio, B92)

Unknown persons overnight desecrated and damaged a memorial plaque dedicated to Serb victims from the village of Staro Gracko in Kosovo.

The names of 14 Serb farmers gunned down while harvesting their fields in July 1999 were inscribed on the plaque, as well as those of the victims of NATO's aggression that took place earlier the same year.

The memorial was placed at the elementary school in the centre of the village.

Jevtić: We have to work together to resolve the problem of missing persons (TV Most)

Serbian and Albanian sides have to work on resolving the problem of missing persons, said Minister for Communities and Return in the provincial government, Dalibor Jevtić, on the occasion of the International Day of Victims of Enforced Disappearances.

Jevtić said that there is still big number of unresolved cases of missing persons and that war has never brought anything good to anyone.

Jevtić: Police failed in Mušutište (RTS)

The Minister for Communities and Return in the Kosovo Government, Dalibor Jevtić, reflected on yesterday’s incidents in the village Mušutište and said to RTS that Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija will remain persistent in realization of their basic human rights and freedoms. It is unacceptable that anyone is prevented to move free in 21st century and return to its property, said Jevtić.

Representatives of Kosovo Serbs deny that an agreement was reached to support the demarcation of the border with Montenegro.

Serbian list did not talk with the representatives of the ruling Albanian political parties about support for the agreement on the demarcation of the border with Montenegro, and which would lead, in return, to the formation of the Association/Community of Serb municipalities (ZSO), confirmed President of the Serbian List Slavko Simić to Večernje Novosti.

Jevtić on returns with ambassadors of the Quint countries (TV Most)

At the initiative of the Kosovo Minister for Communities and Returns Dalibor Jevtić, today in Pristina is held a meeting with ambassadors of the Quint countries (representatives of the embassies of United States, Great Britain, Germany, Italy and France) about the return and integration of displaced persons in accordance with the regional inter-institutional initiative (Skopje  initiative). At the meeting was also discussed the returnee project Sunny Valley.

Four Serbs in the working group for drafting the Statute of the ZSO (RTK2)

Ten days ago the President of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi announced in Vienna that soon will start formation of working groups that would work on the draft of the Statute of ZSO (Association/Community of Serb municipalities). However, there is no official confirmation in Pristina about what "soon" meant.

Jevtić: Soon return of the first families to Mušutište (NMagazin)

Dalibor Jevtić, Minister for Communities and Returns, announced laying of foundation stone for construction of the first houses for returnees in Mušutište for a little more than a month.

Jevtić said that the priority, after the reconstruction of the first houses, would be to renovate the monastery in Mušutište.

Jevtić urged local governments and local people to provide support and be guarantors of the survival of the Serbs, who will return.

Jevtić: The Sunny Valley is not colonization (KIM radio)

- The Sunny Valley cannot be and is not colonization, but the result of the fact that the return of displaced persons from Kosovo and Metohija cannot be implemented in those areas where they want to return, such as Đakovica, for example - said the Kosovo Minister for Return and Communities, Dalibor Jevtić.

Jevtić told RTS that in the first five months of this year only 101 displaced persons have returned to Kosovo which gives the best possible reflection of the situation on the ground.
