Delawie pledges US support for returns process (Telegrafi)

The Kosovo Minister for Returns and Communities Dalibor Jevtic met the US Ambassador Greg Delawie yesterday in Pristina to discuss the current political situation as well as the return and the rights of communities in Kosovo. In the meeting, Ambassador Delawie expressed the US support for the return of the members of communities to Kosovo.

Jevtic: Opening of chapters, important news for the Kosovo Serbs (Blic, RTS)

Minister for Communities and Returns in the Kosovo government Dalibor Jevtic said tonight that the opening of the first chapters of the EU with Serbia were extremely important news for the Serbs in Kosovo.

- For those of us who live in Kosovo, opening of chapters is important, but also that everything agreed in Brussels will be implemented - he said in a statement to RTS.

House of a priest in the village of Osojane in Istok/Istog municipality in Kosovo was looted during the weekend.

Minister of Communities and Returns in the Kosovo government Dalibor Jevtic told Tanjug that this attack and robbery of the house in Osojane, returnees' village,  is worrying.

New houses for 12 returnee families (RTK2)

Minister for Communities and Returns Dalibor Jevtic visited the municipality of Srbica/Skenderaj and Istok/Istog. Jevtic handed over the keys of newly built houses for 12 returnee families.

In the municipality of Srbica/Skenderaj, in the villages of Suvo Grlo and Banje, Jevtic has promised to build a new kindergarten by European standards and the implementation of priority projects in these two places.

Jevtic: EUR 8 million insufficient for return and plans (RTK2)

Despite the announcements that Kosovo parliament’s committee on the rights and interests of communities would review today the report of the budget committee with regard to funds allocated to the Ministry for Communities and Return in the next year, this didn’t take place because report has not been accomplished yet. Minister for Communities and Return Dalibor Jevtic however stated that he learned that the budget would amount to some EUR 8 million and added that this is insufficient for implementation of the Ministry’s plans for the next year.

Jevtic: The security situation in Kosovo is fragile (Kontakt Plus radio)

Minister of Communities and Returns in the Kosovo government Dalibor Jevtic says that the security situation in Kosovo is fragile and it is necessary to act preventively to avoid escalation. 

He condemned the attack on the property of doctor from Donja Gusterica and also pointed out that he requested from the Kosovo Police to provide patrol which would ensure 24 hours village Gojbulja near Vucitrn/Vushtrri.

Haziri, Jevtic and Maric discuss Serbs’ return in Gjilan/Gnjilane (Klan Kosova)

Gjilan/Gnjilane mayor, Lutfi Haziri, hosted today Kosovo’s Minister for Communities and Returns, Dalibor Jevtic and the Minister for Administration of Local Government, Ljubomir Maric, to discuss important matters for Gjilan/Gnjilane population. “We discussed today the plans and possibilities for the 2016 budget and for development on community interests in Gjilan/Gnjilane, villages such as Shillova, Cernica and Kmetoci as well as the urban part surrounding the ‘Saint Nikola” church, schools etc.

Jevtic: We will work so that everybody can return to Kosovo (Blic)

Minister for Communities and Returns in Kosovo Government Dalibor Jevtic said today in Plemetina village that the goal of this ministry is to initiate closing of all collective centres in 2016.  Minister visited the villages in the municipality of Vucitrn/ Vushtrri, "which were almost forgotten." He stated that the construction and reconstruction of houses for returnees will be continued, not only in Obilic but throughout Kosovo, with the goal that within three years everybody who want return to Kosovo.

Jevtic in Staro Gracko: To remind that the killers have not been found (KIM radio)

Minister of Communities and Return in the Kosovo Government Dalibor Jevtic yesterday in Staro Gracko village has laid a wreath at the memorial for the 14 Serbian reapers who were killed on 23 July 1999.

"Not only the memorial service, but every day we have to remind that their killers have not been found to this date," said Jevtic.
