Ivanović: I expect a fair trial; I'm not guilty (Kontakt plus radio)

Oliver Ivanović told Kontakt plus radio that he hopes that repeated court proceedings against him will be fair and efficient and that it will prove his innocence for the acts of which he was charged.

In the basic court in Mitrovica on Friday begins a retrial to Ivanović with presentation of opening statements of the prosecutor and the defense. The hearings are scheduled until the end of June.

 

Ðurić: Investing in Education an investment in the future (Kontakt plus radio)

Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija Marko Đurić says that investment in education is an investment in the future and survival of the Serbian people in Kosovo.

The meeting also discussed the coordination and future cooperation between the Cabinet of the Deputy Prime Minister and UNMIK.

A decision on polling stations in Kosovo and Metohija on March 12 (Kontakt plus radio)

For the presidential elections in Serbia, scheduled for 2nd April, 8 253 polling stations will be open, it was announced today by the Republic Electoral Commission.

The REC also told that a decision about polling stations in Kosovo and Metohija will be made on 12 March.

 

Rakić: We will not tolerate unilateral actions of the municipality South Mitrovica (Kontakt plus radio)

North Mitrovica Mayor Goran Rakić said today that setting up the street names in the Albanian language in Suvi Do/Suhidoll was illegal and unacceptable, and he recalled that the municipality of Mitrovica North and South have not signed the memorandum on delimitation.

Rakić also said that the relevant ministries would put pressure on the South Mitrovica municipal authorities in order to stop these activities, which he has strongly condemned.

 

 

Rakić: Demolition of the supporting wall will represent violence (Kontakt plus radio, RTS)

The Mayor of North Mitrovica Goran Rakić says that it is the right of local government to build on the territory on which they govern, and adds that the announcement of the central authorities in Pristina on demolishment of the supporting wall goes beyond their limits.
