Alliance for Serbia: Vucic confirmed he is one step away from agreement on delineation (Danas, BETA)

The Alliance for Serbia (SzS) stated yesterday that President Aleksandar Vucic with his statement to Italian news agency ANSA, saying “Serbia cannot recognize Kosovo, and get nothing in return,” confirmed he is just a step away from “a private arrangement” to permanently delineate Serbia with Kosovo, Danas daily reports.

“My opinion is that Kosovo and Metohija is an integral part of Serbia and that is the number one fact, which was written in UN Resolution 1244 and in the Constitution of Serbia. Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic offered the United States to recognize Kosovo's independence immediately, and the exchange of territory is now on the table, Vuk Jeremic, a leader of the People's Party and a member of the opposition Alliance for Serbia after the Washington meeting, said in an interview with Voice of America. Serbian opposition Alliance for Serbia (SzS) leaders continued to broaden their international contacts, saying on Thursday they had meetings in the German Chancellor Angela Merkel’s cabinet and the Foreign Ministry, but fell short of giving any details from the talks, BETA news agency reported.

Peoples’ Party leader and Chairman of Alliance for Serbia, Vuk Jeremic, one of the Alliance’s founders Dragan Djilas and Serbian Leftist leader Borko Stefanovic took part in the meetings in Berlin.

Alliance for Serbia requests Vucic to say what he discussed with Thaci (Danas, BETA)

Alliance for Serbia (SZS) requested from the Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic to urgently reveal what he has negotiated with Kosovo President Hashim Thaci during the meetings they had, Danas daily reports.

The Alliance, in a press statement, stressed that Thaci has admitted having secret meetings with the Serbian President Vucic in Paris, New York, Vatican, Brussels and Vienna, thus unequivocally confirming allegations put forward earlier by Peoples’ Party leader Vuk Jeremic, who spoke publicly about these meetings on several occasions.

Member of Prosperous Serbia (ZS) and the opposition Alliance for Serbia (SZS) Milan Stamatovic, commenting on Serbian Orthodox Church Patriarch Irinej’s statement that Serbia needs unity and not quarrels, said that Serbian Patriarch should have been in Pec, and not in “Belgrade’s downtown,” B92 reports.

He added the seat of the Serbian Patriarch should be “there where it is hardest (to live) for the Serbian people” and it is “in Pec Patriarchate.”
