Kosovars to petition UN to investigate cases of rape (Lajmi)

Women raped during the conflict in Kosovo are not included in the United Nations global report on sexual violence. Inclusion of Kosovo in such a report would make it easier for it to demand justice for rapes committed during the conflict. This has led to the initiative to start a petition to the UN to address the issue. The petition will have four demands: international justice for raped women, launch of UN investigations into rapes and a subsequent official report that would help bring perpetrators to justice.
