Haradinaj condemns Oliver Ivanovic’s murder (RTK)

The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, has condemned the murder of the Serb Civic Imitative “Freedom, Democracy, Justice,”, Oliver Ivanovic.

Haradinaj called this act criminal and punishable.

He also wrote that Kosovo remains determined on creation of a safe and secure environment for all its citizens.

Oliver Ivanovic’s murder under unclear circumstances and unknown motives, is a criminal and punishable act.

President Thaci strongly condemns Oliver Ivanovic's murder (RTK)

Kosovo President Hashim Thaci, condemned murder of the leader of the SDP civic initiative, Oliver Ivanovic, who was killed in Mitrovica North.

“I strongly condemn the murder of the leader of the Civic Initiative “Freedom, Democracy, Justice,” in the north of the country, Oliver Ivanovic,” wrote Thaci on his Facebook profile.

“I call on order bodies to swiftly shed light on the circumstances of his murder and bring perpetrators in front of justice.”

Hoxhaj: Crnadak’s statements, only to please Serbia (RTK)

Deputy Prime Minister of Kosovo, Enver Hoxhaj, has reacted to the reiteration of statements of the Foreign Minister of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Igor Crnadak, that Bosnia will not recognize independence of Kosovo. He took to Twitter to condemn “destructive statements” which according to Hoxhaj are being made to satisfy Serbia.

“Destructive statements from Bosnia’s Minister for Foreign Affairs against Kosovo’s statehood to satisfy Serbia. This attitude goes against regional cooperation and good neighboring,” Hoxhaj wrote.

Haradinaj: AAK is against special court and Association (RTK)

In a visit to the municipality of Gjakova/Djakovica today, Prime Minister of Kosovo Ramush Haradinaj is quoted as having said that his party, the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), continues to oppose the specialist chambers as well as the establishment of the Association/Community of Serb-majority municipalities. Haradinaj said that the fact his party is now part of the ruling coalition will not change the way they view things. “I did not come here to adapt,” he said.

Kurti: Throwing teargas at the Assembly is not a criminal deed (RTK)

The Court session for the four Vetevendosje MPs accused for throwing teargas at the Assembly has started. Vetvendosje Movement MP Albin Kurti, said his and the three others’ MPs actions are a parliamentary disobedience and not a criminal act. He said their actions could have been sanctioned as offence but by no means as a criminal offence. “We did not even think what laws we were violating, because our preoccupation was Constitution and territory,” Kurti said.

 “Kosovo should have been recognized by all EU countries” (DW, RTK)

Former UN High Representative to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Christian Schwarz-Schilling, criticized the fact that five out of 27 EU countries have not recognized Kosovo.

“Europe is not capable to have a clear policy towards Serbia and Kosovo and this is a shame,” he reportedly said.

“This is an absolute egoism of these five countries. EU can never win war on democracy in this manner,” he said.
