Working group to meet at AAK premises (indeksonline)

After the meeting of the leaders of LDK-AAK-NISMA coalition with Vetevendosje leader Albin Kurti, members of the working group of these parties will meet again at 15:00 hours at the headquarters of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK.)

Epoka e Re has learned that the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), will be represented by Kujtim Shala, AAK by Ardian Gjini, Citizens Initiative (NISMA), by Bilall Sherifi, while Visar Ymeri will represent Vetevendosje.

Opposition coalition fails to reach agreement with Vetevendosje (Koha)

No agreement was reached in today’s meeting between leaders of the Vetevendosje Movement, the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK) and the Initiative for Kosovo (NISMA). Vetevendosje leader Albin Kurti said there have been setbacks from earlier agreements. “There is discordance from earlier positions of the Vetevendosje Movement and the LDK-AAK-NISMA coalition. These are mainly related to dialogue with Serbia, the process of privatization and other issues,” Kurti told reporters after the meeting.

Mustafa: Procedures for a joint parliamentary group end tomorrow (gazetablic)

Isa Mustafa, leader of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), gathered today his deputies to discuss formation of the joint parliamentary group with the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK) and the Initiative for Kosovo (NISMA). Mustafa stated that the procedures for a joint parliamentary group of the three political parties will conclude tomorrow.

He said that unification of political parties into one parliamentary group is allowed by regulation procedures of the Assembly as well as the Law.

The meeting between the leader of Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), Isa Mustafa, that of Alliance for Future of Kosovo (AAK), Ramush Haradinaj, leader of Initiative for Kosovo (NISMA), Fatmir Limaj and of Vetevendosje, Albin Kurti.

The meeting is said to have focused on issues relating to the constitution of the Kosovo Assenbly and the priorities that the future Government of Kosovo should have.

The host of the meeting, Albin Kurti, said that positions of parties are being increasingly bridged and that they will be finalized by the time the Assembly of Kosovo is formed.

Mustafa: We have the right to create a joint parliamentary group (gazetablic)

Leader of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK,) Isa Mustafa, stated after the meeting with Ramush Haradinaj and Fatmir Limaj that they have the right to create a joint parliamentary group which would allow them to gain the position of the Assembly Speaker.   “We have the right to create the joint parliamentary group, and we will do this,” he said.

Opposition bloc undergoing final consultations (Gazeta Express)

Leaders of the opposition bloc – Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), Alliance for Future of Kosovo (AAK) and Initiative for Kosovo (NISMA) – will meet today at the LDK offices to discussed final steps before constitution of the new Kosovo Assembly.

Sources told Express that Isa Mustafa, Ramush Haradinaj and Fatmir Limaj will discuss the constitution of the Assembly and the fact that the three parties are going to be part of one parliamentary group.

The General Secretary of the Alliance for The Future of Kosovo (AAK,) Burim Randani, writes that for years, irresponsible individuals lead Kosovo towards a serious state of anarchy. “These individuals do not know what democracy is. They only recognize the language of money, bribe, and corruption. In other words, they only know about personal, family or clan profits. They do not want to accept other arguments. Their intention is not establishment of democracy, because democracy is an obstacle for them.

Mustafa, Haradinaj and Limaj continue consultations (RTK)

Isa Mustafa, Ramush Haradinaj and Fatmir Limaj are expected to meet today at 17:00 in the headquarters of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK) to discuss further steps for forming the government. A member of the AAK chairmanship, who preferred to remain anonymous, told Epoka e Re that there is an agreement between the AAK, the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), the Initiative for Kosovo (Nisma) and the Vetevendosje Movement to not allow a third term for outgoing Prime Minister Hashim Thaci.
