Kosovo Serb political landscape: Progressive Democratic Party (KoSSev)

The Progressive Democratic Party was formed in 2013 at the founding assembly in Gracanica after its leader, Nenad Rasic left the SLS due to difference of opinion. Since then, the party has participated in Kosovo parliamentary elections, as well as local elections, in 2014 and 2017.

CI SDP decided to participate at the upcoming parliamentary elections with other political options gathered around the list ''Serbian List - Aleksandar Vucic''.

''It is our view that now, Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija need unity very much and support from the state of Serbia for the survival and preservation of state and national interests,'' it was said in the CI SDP press release.

The first indication of today's event was given by GI SDP activist Marko Jaksic.

Kosovo court sentences six for planning attacks on KFOR and SPC (N1, KoSSev, Beta)

The Basic Pristina Court sentenced six people to a total of 25 years in jail for planning terrorist attacks on the members of the NATO-led KFOR, the property of the Serbian Orthodox Church (SPC) and discotheques in Serb-populated parts of Kosovo, the KoSSev website reported on Wednesday.

The individual sentences vary from ten years to 12 months in prison.

Court orders arrest of four former Kosovo Serb police officers (KoSSev, N1, Insajderi)

A court in Pristina has issued arrest warrants for four Serbs, former Kosovo Police officers charged with smuggling goods from Serbia, the Insajderi portal reported on Thursday.

The court is reported to have issued the arrest warrants on August 2, the KoSSev portal said.

Insajderi said that the four former police officers are suspected of abusing their powers by smuggling goods illegally across the border in both directions.
