Kosovo urges Serbia to open military archive (RTK2, BIRN)
The Kosovo government's Commission for Missing Persons has urged Belgrade to open military and police archives to help find the location of mass graves. "The opening of these archives could lead us to the mass graves," said Prenk Gjetaj, President of the Commission for Missing Persons of the Government of Kosovo. Gjetaj added that the Commission intends to ask for help from the international community to obtain military satellite images that may also help in localizing mass graves.

The dailies report that according to Gazeta Blic portal, the UN mission in Kosovo will have higher competences from June this year, which was qualified by Pristina-based media as the biggest defeat of Kosovo in its attempts to gain more competencies as an independent state. As stated by Gazeta Blic portal, the plan of international community allegedly was adopted by several Committees, while the Budget Committee should adopt it in three to four months.

The United Nations Interim Administration Mission in Kosovo (UNMIK) voiced concern on Saturday about the violence observed at the protests in Pristina's city center, during which Molotov cocktails, stones and other objects were thrown at the government building and police.
“Such acts by certain individuals have no place in a democratic society and have nothing to do with the legitimate right to peaceful protest expressed by many others,” UNMIK said in a release.

This meeting was held after the attacks on Serbs in Gorazdevac, Srbobran and Gojbulja.
