"For China, Kosovo is Serbia, and so it shall remain" (Tanjug, B92)

Chinese Ambassador to Serbia Li Manchang has said that as far as Beijing is concerned, Kosovo is Serbia - and that it shall remain that way. Ambassador Li noted that the presidents of Serbia and China, Aleksandar Vucic and Xi Jinping, will have a meeting in China during a gathering known as the Summer Davos. Ambassador Li described relations between the two countries as "the golden age between Beijing and Belgrade" - something that has not happened before.

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic says that Serbia is working on continuation of the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina in the same format, under the auspices of the EU, but this problem cannot be solved without great powers, reports Belgrade based daily Blic.

Drecun: We are not satisfied with the overall result of EULEX (RTS)

Chairman of the Assembly Committee for Kosovo and Metohija Milovan Drecun told RTS that if an agreement is reached with Pristina, which will regulate the final status of Kosovo, it will be necessary for Serbia's citizens to declare on it. He points out that EULEX ending its mission ''in the southern Serbian province on June 14, will further destabilize the Serb people''.

At the same time, representatives of France, Great Britain and the United States called for it be abolished.

Russia's Ambassador Vasily Nebenzya said Moscow disagrees with the "very optimistic assessment" presented during the meeting by the Kosovo ambassador to the United States.

Serbian interior minister attends Interpol General Assembly (Beta, B92)

Serbian Interior Minister Nebojsa Stefanovic is in Beijing where he met with Chinese officials yesterday, Beta news agency reported. Stefanovic and Chinese officials "discussed ways on how to enhance relations and cooperation in the field of security." Stefanovic met with Meng Jianzhu, Secretary of the Central Political and Legal Affairs Commission and Public Security Minister Guo Shengkun, the agency quoted a statement issued by the Interior Ministry.

Serbian Interior Minister is in the Chinese capital to attend the Interpol General Assembly.

Until October Washington and Berlin decide on envoys (Danas)

Belgrade based daily Danas writes today, based on unofficial diplomatic sources, that the United States and Germany are considering who will be their envoys in the next phase of the Brussels dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, and that it is expected that the decision on their names would be made and disclosed in a month time.
