Haley: We will work hard for Kosovo’s membership at the UN (media)

The US Ambassador to the UN, Nikki Haley, hosted a "Friends of the US" reception Wednesday night, inviting those who had voted against or abstained from voting on a resolution condemning the United States for officially recognizing Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.

Ambassador Haley expressed appreciation to the 64 countries by reading names of each state that voted against the Resolution, abstained or did not participate at voting.

Vulin: Moscow in Kosovo dialogue - that changes everything (RTS, B92)

US wants $250 mn cut to UN budget (ABS-CBN News, AFP)

UNITED NATIONS - The United States is seeking a $250 million cut to the core budget of the United Nations for 2018-2019, on top of $200 million in savings already proposed by UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, diplomats said Tuesday. The budget is under negotiations in a General Assembly committee which is expected to adopt it before the end of December.
