Blic: Can opposition MPs thwart the Thaci's plan for dialogue with Belgrade?

Belgrade based daily Blic reports on the current attempt of opposition MPs in the Kosovo Assembly to ''ban'' Thaci with the resolution, with support of a part of the ruling coalition, to negotiate with Belgrade on the "correction of the borders".

Mustafa hopes Special Court will shed light on killings of LDK members (Gazeta Express)

The news site reports that a delegation of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) led by Prime Minister Isa Mustafa laid flowers at the monument of former LDK member and publicist Enver Maloku who was gunned down by unknown assailants in January 1999. Mustafa was quoted as saying that he hopes the Special Court, which has yet to become operational, will shed light on the killings of LDK members. “We have gathered here today to express our outrage with the despicable act and also to express our commitment to help resolve these killings and bring the perpetrators to justice,” Mustafa said.

Maloku: Only Vetevendosje has moral right not to vote for special court (Lajmi)

Naim Maloku, a senior official of the New Kosovo Alliance (AKR) and former deputy leader of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), said today that the formation of the special court, which will address war crimes allegations, is a result of the failure of Kosovo’s judiciary. Maloku said that except for the Vetevendosje Movement, all parliamentary parties have contributed to this failure, and that no party, except for Vetevendosje, has the moral right to oppose the formation of this court.
