MPs debate over EULEX’s confidential report (KosovaPress)

The main focus during the debate at the Kosovo Assembly today was the EULEX's confidential report regarding the information published few days ago allegedly involving senior PDK officials. The Vetevendosje Movement MP, Albin Kurti, said that this report has just confirmed what was said before about the PDK, “that this party will continue to capture the institutions of Kosovo.” Also the Initiative for Kosovo (NISMA) MPs said that the matter should be thoroughly investigated.

The leader of the Vetevendosje Movement, Albin Kurti, told Radio Dukagjini that “the dismissed Communities and Returns Minister Aleksandar Jablanovic should not have any kind of power in Kosovo.” “I believe that the government has realized now that people like Jablanovic should not stay in Kosovo government,” said Kurti. Kurti: Jablanovic’s dismissal, a good lesson for other ministers (RTK)

Albin Kurti, the leader of the Vetevendosje Movement, told RTK today that the dismissal of Communities and Returns Minister Aleksandar Jablanovic was a good lesson for all ministers of the Kosovo government. He said that the coalition of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) and the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) with the Serbian List was wrong. Kurti suggested that the PDK and LDK should respect the Constitution of Kosovo by including in the government people like Nenad Rasic "who don’t insult the people of Kosovo and respect the state of Kosovo".

Kurti: Protest will not be called off even if Jablanovic is dismissed (Tribuna)

Vetevendosje leader Albin Kurti told a local radio that tomorrow’s protest in Pristina is unavoidable even if the Communities and Returns Minister, Aleksandar Jablanovic, is dismissed. “Even if Jablanovic is dismissed, we will gather at the square to celebrate what we achieved. Nevertheless, we do have another demand, that regarding Trepca,” Kurti said. He expressed doubt that Jablanovic would indeed be dismissed. “Mustafa would rather dismiss himself than Jablanovic,” added Kurti.

Kosovo Politicians Trade Accusations After Unrest (Balkan insight)

Citing a press release issued by Vetevendosje, Koha reports that at 12:00 p.m. today, the deadline to submit candidacies for the leader of Vetevendosje ended. With the expiration of this period, the General Election Commission (GEC) of  Vetevendosje found that there was only one declaration for candidacy submitted – that of Visar Ymeri. In accordance with the Statute and Rules of Internal Elections of Vetevendosje, the GEC announced that Visar Ymer is the only candidate who will continue in the internal elections.

Kurti and Kumnova call for popular protest against Jablanovic (Kosovapress)

Albin Kurti, the leader of the Vetevendosje Movement, and Nusrete Kumnova, the head of the “Cries of Mothers” missing persons association, told a press conference today in Pristina that a popular protest will be organized on Saturday against Communities and Returns Minister Aleksandar Jablanovic. Kurti and Kumnova called on all political parties and civil society to join the protest. Protesters will call on Prime Minister Isa Mustafa to dismiss Jablanovic for his insults against the mothers of missing persons in Gjakova.
