The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Isa Mustafa, appealed today once again to the opposition parties to return to the Assembly and dialogue for the problems that concern them. During today’s meeting of the government, Mustafa said that certain opposition parties should give up violence and discourse that embeds hatred. “It is in the interest of the country for us to work, improve the lives of citizens. They should renounce from violence and attacks of buildings and of police.

Prime Minister of Kosovo, Isa Mustafa, said Kosovo institutions have met all necessary criteria of the visa lbieralisation process. He said he was hopeful that next week when the European Commission experts are due to visit Kosovo and assess it against the visa liberalisation criteria they would decide not to delay issuing a positive recommendation for Kosovo. Mustafa said that the criteria regarding office space for the Ombudsperson Institution has been met and that the programme for the procurement review authority will be ready by next week.

After being splashed with water by an opposition MP, Prime Minister of Kosovo Isa Mustafa said at the Assembly that he sees no reason why the opposition supporters should attack his home or him personally. He called on the judicial authorities to undertake necessary measures against such actions. “If the house of the Prime Minister of Kosovo is attacked with Molotov cocktail and everyone remains silent in face the of this, then there is something seriously wrong with this country,” said Mustafa.

Kosovo’s Prime Minister, Isa Mustafa, said today that the opposition parties may freely address the Constitutional Court regarding the process of electing Hashim Thaci as Kosovo president.  He added that he didn’t put pressure on LDK MPs on voting for Thaci after the first round of voting.  “We didn’t put pressure on the MPs. It is their vote and they voted for Thaci,” Mustafa said.

Kosovo’s Prime Minister, Isa Mustafa, during his visit in the United Kingdom held a lecture at Oxford University where he spoke about Kosovo’s difficult path towards freedom and the current processes related to economic development and European integration.  "The Government of Kosovo is committed to being a worthy partner of the EU for the implementation of all agreements, including the SAA.
