Without an agreement between Belgrade and Pristina on Telecommunications (Dailies)

After the 15 hours long negotiations on telecommunications, within the framework of the technical dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, was not reached an agreement on key issues, was stated from the Serbian Government Office for Kosovo and Metohija. The talks were completed about one o’clock after midnight, and the dialogue on telecommunications at a technical level will be continued on Monday,  22 June, the day before the meetings between Prime Ministers in Brussels.

America prevents the breakdown of Brussels talks (Vecernje Novosti)

If Pristina does not give up the idea that the Association/Community of Serbian municipalities (ZSO) will be only a NGO within Kosovo, key negotiations in Brussels could fail, learned Novosti. According to our information, due to the risk of a fiasco, (which would mean the ramp on the European path of Serbia) the American diplomats put pressure on Albanian leaders to agree to a compromise. The representatives of the US Embassy in Pristina had an important role, which "mitigated" the Albanian position before the technical dialogue that begun today.

Samuel Zbogar: No more excuses for special court (Vecernje Novosti)

I see no valid reason for any further delay in forming the Special Court for crimes committed in Kosovo. The constitutional amendments are already in the assembly and the law is ready, this for Vecernje Novosti said Samuel Zbogar, EU Special Representative in Kosovo. Is there a general political will to form the court? - I do not envy deputies of the Assembly of Kosovo, both those representing the Albanian parties, nor those representing the community.

Genocide lawsuit draws the attention from establishing the Court (Dailies)

“Pristina threatens with the lawsuit for genocide in order to divert attention from the establishment of the Special Court for terrorist KLA,” says the director of the Serbian Government Office for Kosovo and Metohija Marko Djuric. "One of the most bizarre ideas is that our southern province could sue our central authority for the crime of genocide.

Lajcak: We owe opening of chapters to Serbia (Vecernje Novosti, Tanjug)

The fact that we have not opened even the first negotiation chapter with Serbia lends no credibility to the EU, says Slovak Foreign Minister Miroslav Lajcak. We owe that not only to Serbia, but to ourselves as well, for the sake of the authenticity of the European integration process - the commissioner for enlargement talks, Johannes Hahn, also agrees with this, Lajcak was quoted as saying in Monday's issue of Vecernje Novosti ahead of a meeting of European leaders, to be held in Brussels late this month. Noting that the EU officially opened the negotiation process with Serbia in January las

Europe must stop the farce (Vecernje Novosti)

Jacques Ogar, former Head of French Special Units in Kosovo, after signing Kumanovo Agreement, initiated petition for the release of Oliver Ivanovic. He said that the case against Oliver Ivanovic is basically political process, stressing that EU must immediately react in order to stop that farce. Why Oliver Ivanovic was detained?  The crime of Oliver Ivanovic is that he wholeheartedly insisted on consistent implementation of the UN SC Resolution 1244, according to which Kosovo and Metohija are integral part of Serbia.

For Kosovo, Strasbourg is mission impossible (Vecernje Novosti)

Though Kosovo announced submission of the request for accession in the Council in Europe, for Pristina this task is still ‘bite off more than it can chew.’  Even some countries that have recognized Kosovo independence do not believe that Kosovo fulfils the basic criteria of the Rule of Law, in addition to the fact the procedure for accession to the CoE is so complicated that it might last several years. “Before the CoE Council of Ministers begins to decide on the accession of a new member, Parliamentary assembly must give opinion, what can last even one year,” said the Chief of the Serbi

Kosovo platform to be sent to MPs during summer (Vecernje Novosti, B92)

President Tomislav Nikolic's platform for Kosovo could be on the agenda of the national assembly at the earliest in late July or early August. The daily Vecernje Novosti writes that "expert and political communities, but also leading national institutions will give their opinion on the proposal in order to achieve as broader a social consensus as possible before the final debate in parliament." The Beta news agency is quoting the paper as reporting that according to the document, the future community of Serb municipalities in Kosovo "should be a province within Kosovo modeled after provinces
