BRATISLAVA -- Slovakia is Serbia's true friend, whose experience can teach us a lot, Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic said on Thursday in Bratislava.

He made the statement as he met with Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico.

Vucic told at a joint press conference with the Slovakian prime minister that Serbia's goal is full stabilization of the Balkans.

He said that Serbia will use some of the measures that the Slovakian government has successfully implemented with an eye to boosting economy.

BELGRADE -- Serbia is on Tuesday marking the 16th anniversary since the beginning of NATO's air war against the country, then a part of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia.

The attacks lasted for 11 weeks and resulted in the deaths of between 1,200 and 4,000 people, according to different sources.

BELGRADE -- Zeljko Sertic has said that the Serbian government will not allow the government of Kosovo to, with any act, violate the principle of ownership over property.

"The question of property cannot be resolved by a unilateral attitude of an individual. Serbia has a way to respond to such attempts," the Serbian economy minister told reporters at the government HQ on Monday.

BELGRADE - Director of the Serbian government Office for Kosovo-Metohija (KiM) Marko Djuric met with Hungarian Ambassador to Serbia Attila Pinter to discuss the support of Hungary to Serbia's EU integration and the continuation of the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue.

Djuric and Pinter agreed that it is very important to continue implementing the agreements reached as part of the Brussels Agreement (on the normalization of Belgrade-Pristina relations) and that progress should be made by taking practical steps, the Office for KiM said in a release on Friday.

The Chairperson of the Serbia’s parliament's Committee for Kosovo and Metohija, Milovan Drecun, said today that intention of hindering the normalization of relations with Kosovo lays behind the Self-Determination’s protests in Pristina.

BRUSSELS -- The European Commission is asking Serbia to harmonize its foreign policy - "a possible hint of pressure on us to impose sanctions on Russia," writes a daily.

Apart from the Ukraine crisis, Belgrade is also expected to align its policy with that of the EU on Iraq and Syria, the Vecernje Novosti newspaper writes.

The European Commission will present a specific demand to this end, the article adds, and interprets this as "possibly meaning there will be increased pressure on Belgrade to impose sanctions on Russia."

Former Serbian Defence Minister Dragan Sutanovac had assessed as "unacceptable" formation of Kosovo military and called on the government to make it clear to counterparts in Brussels. He said that it would have repealed the Kumanovo Agreement from 1999 and threatened the Brussels Treaty between Belgrade and Pristina.

Director of the Serbian List, Aleksandar Jablanovic said that participation of the Serbian List in Kosovo Government is not in dispute, as opposed to the participation of other parties who do not have consent of the official Belgrade nor the international factor which is very important.

Jablanovic says that without the will of the international factors that largely finance the political process in Kosovo, there is no luck for the future government, reports Beta.

According to him, Self-Determination remains unacceptable for the Serbian list.
