Regional TV stations follow the attitude of the United Nations

Belgrade – Kosovo will be not be an independent state for the new regional television N1, which is the exclusive partner of CNN for the region, told Danas Jugoslav Cosic, Director of the Program for Serbia of the new regional television , which will broadcast from Belgrade, Sarajevo and Zagreb. He said the new regional TV station will treat Kosovo as the United Nations.

Albania, Serbia, Kosovo trilateral meeting possible (Danas)

Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama will visit Serbia on 10 November, announced yesterday the Government of Serbia. His arrival was first scheduled for October 22, and then postponed by mutual agreement of Rama and his Serbian counterpart and future host Aleksandar Vucic.

Vucic and Rama, as said, have discussed yesterday afternoon and agreed that the incidents at last week's football game between Serbia and Albania in Belgrade "in essence were very unhappy" and that "there are clear disagreements about how the incident occurred".

Trilateral meeting between Serbia, Albania and Kosovo canceled? (Danas)

Political analyst Dusan Janjic reflected on the visit of the Prime Minister of Albania Edi Rama to Belgrade and assessed that there is no dilemma about it – his visit is a part of an earlier agreement between Serbia and Albania, sponsored by the US and EU. Serbian Government today announced that visit of Edi Rama has been postponed for 10 November.

Jahjaga at the "world's shadow government" (Danas)

Belgrade - Kosovo President Atifete Jahjaga was invited to a meeting of the European Group of the Trilateral Commission, on the 1st of November, which will be held in Belgrade from 31 October to 2 November, said Arber Vllahiu to Danas, advisor of the Kosovo President.

He, however, refused to say to Danas who also will attend this meeting, and what topics will be discussed. Institutions of Serbia and EU representatives in Belgrade, on the other hand, did not respond to the Danas’s question, what is the reason of Jahjaga’s visit to Belgrade.

Albania does not consider the Greater Albania option (Vecernje Novosti, Danas)

Albania supports Kosovo's independence, but does not consider the option of so-called "Greater Albania," says Remzi Lani, executive director of the Albanian Media Institute.

- No political party in Albania stands for something like that. It's something we hear outside Albania - said Lani for Danas daily, on the eve of the official visit of the Albanian Prime Minister to Belgrade, by answering the question what is the official position of Albania on the idea of forming a "Greater Albania".

Jahjaga (not) visiting Belgrade (Danas)

President of Kosovo Atifete Jahjaga has received an official invitation to participate in regional conference on economic cooperation in Belgrade, scheduled for 1 November, learned Danas in the cabinet of the Kosovo President, but information whether she will visit Belgrade was not confirmed.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Serbia could not provide any official information regarding the announced regional summit, however they said that more details will be known in the course of the day.

Serbia could reconcile EU and Russia (Danas, B92)

 Serbia's OSCE chairmanship next year will be "a great opportunity to take on a role and mediate in negotiations in order to smooth EU-Russia relations."

 "Serbia must use the opportunity so that an easy solution is found, so that NATO would not have to become involved in it," the Belgrade-based daily Danas is quoting Dušan Siđanski, a special adviser to the president of the European Commission, who was in Serbia for the Belgrade Security Forum.
