Serbian PM, Aleksandar Vucic, will not attend the unveiling of the monument dedicated to  King Milutin in the yard of the school in Gracanica, which is celebrating 140 years of its existence. Branimir Stojanovic, mayor of Gracanica, a municipality in Kosovo system of local government, said that celebration was postponed due to technical reasons, and will be held probably at the end of November."

Apart of the statement that ‘all allegations over corruption in the EULEX judiciary should be investigated for the sake of credibility of that mission’, made by the Director of the Serbian Government’s Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Marko Djuric, Belgrade did not make any additional comments with regard to that scandal.

Danas was not able to learn from the Office for Kosovo and Metohija about Belgrade’s steps in relation with corruption in the EULEX mission, which is officially deployed to Kosovo with its consent.

Who is responsible for the fact that even after 15 years there are no results in the prosecution of those responsible for crimes against the Serbs and members of other national communities in Kosovo, including Albanians who are not supporting the KLA?

Will the EU mission in Kosovo ‘sink’ due to allegations on corruption within the EULEX? As stated, in EULEX affair are involved a former boss, one former and several current prosecutors and one judge of this mission, Pristina, Sarajevo and Belgrade media, including the Brussels.

“Allegations on corruption of EULEX officials should be taken very seriously. It is necessary that independent investigators check such allegations, bearing in mind compliance with procedures and the presumption of innocence. However, I fear that the accusations already undermined the credibility of the mission, which was initiated in order to introduce the rule of law in Kosovo,” told Eduard Kukan, head of the European Parliament's delegation for relations with Serbia.

I am carefully following developments in relation with the allegations against some former and current officials of EULEX mission in Kosovo. Of course, until those allegations don’t take an epilogue in a form of valid decisions it would be inappropriate to condemn anyone in advance, said the European Parliament MP Tanja Fajon to Danas, while commenting the claims on efforts invested in covering up cases dealt by the EULEX mission.

The United Nation Security Council Resolution 1244 was never abolished, what means that it is still valid. This means that Kosovo is part of Serbia, and this is not negotiable. Of course, Kosovo could have a special status, but according to the UN resolution it is part of Serbia.

Minister of Labour, Employment and Social Policy, Aleksandar Vulin said at the opening of the new Centre for Social Work in North Mitrovica that "social benefits will not be reduced and that Serbia will continue to care for those who are in most difficult position in the country."
