Serbs and Albanians together are seeking missing persons (RTK2, Beta)

Association of missing persons in Kosovo and Metohija and the Association of missing Albanians have agreed with the families to seek together all disappeared.

This was after the meeting, "Non-governmental associations for Missing Persons - Example of best practice and cooperation between communities", in Pristina, said the coordinator of the Association for missing persons in Kosovo, Milorad Trifunovic.

Trifunovic told BETA that the policy remains the major obstacle to resolving the fate of missing Serbs and Albanians.

Protest against discrimination and human rights violations (Tanjug)

Healthcare employees in northern Kosovo areas with a Serb majority have stopped working for an hour in protest against the poor security situation there and violations of their human rights.

Doctors saw only urgent patients during the protest on Wednesday.

The protest was organised in reaction to a threat by the police that they would arrest two doctors unless they performed an autopsy on the body of the tragically deceased Dusanka Andrejevic, for which the order was issued in Albanian.

Courts in Kosovo will continue to work as before (Kontakt plus radio)

Senior Public Prosecutor in Mitrovica, Milan Bigovic said today that the Serbian judges and prosecutors in Kosovo will continue to work as before.

Bigovic in a statement to Radio Kontakt Plus in Mitrovica, denied reports of some media in Kosovo which reported that functions of the employees in the Serbian justice system in Kosovo shall be terminated in March.

- That's not true, we continue to work as before - said Bigovic.

Stefanovic: Talks about integration of Serbian police officers in the Kosovo system (RTS)

Integration of Serbian police officers into Kosovo Police will be discussed at the meeting with the representatives of the Kosovo Police, announced Minister of Internal Affairs of Serbia Nebojsa Stefanovic.

At the session of the Serbian parliament’s committee for internal affairs Stefanovic said that the meeting will also be used for discussing the range of other security issues in relation to security of Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija, carried Tanjug.

Around 50 Serbian police officers suspended in northern Kosovo (Blic)

Around 50 Serbian police officers in northern Kosovo have been suspended due to their rejection to closely cooperate with prosecution and officials dealing with investigations on involvement of Serbs in alleged crimes committed in northern Kosovo, carried Kosovo Police.

Information leaking with regard to murder of the police officer Enver Zumberi in 2010 in Zubin Potok was quoted by Kosovo Police as a justification for suspension for Serb police officers.
