Guatemala thanked for supporting Serbia on Kosovo (B92)

First Deputy PM and Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic received on Thursday in Belgrade Guatemala's Foreign Minister Carlos Raul Morales Moscoso.

During the talks it was noted that, despite the existence of bilateral and friendly relations, the cooperation in economic, cultural and educational areas lag behind the real possibilities of the two countries, the Serbian government said.

Belgrade supports work of KLA war crimes court – Dacic (B92)

The Serbian government supports the work of the special court for the war crimes committed by the KLA ("Kosovo Liberation Army").

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic said this on Thursday during a meeting in Belgrade with the court's chief prosecutor, David Schwendiman.

Western Balkans Fund set to be established (Tanjug)

The National Assembly of Serbia on Thursday passed a bill ratifying an agreement on the establishment of the Western Balkans Fund with the aim of strengthening ties and encouraging the European integration of Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Kosovo, Macedonia and Serbia.

The fund will finance different projects, helping the signatories to become better connected and reach the ultimate goal of EU accession faster.

Belgrade will make maximum efforts in its dialogue Pristina - "but we will not give Serbia away - not for anything," SPS leader Ivica Dacic has said.

Dacic, who serves as the first deputy prime minister and foreign minister, spoke at a party event on Sunday, noting that there was "absolute agreement" with PM Aleksandar Vucic when it comes to this policy.

In an open, constructive conversation on Tuesday, Dacic and Countryman, who is also the acting Under Secretary of State for Arms Control and International Security at the US Department of State, exchanged views on the situation in the region and a range of matters concerning international security and the present security challenges.

Dačić: The speed of opening chapters depends of the Chapter 35 (Dnevnik)

Foreign Minister Ivica Dačić says that Serbia is committed to peace and stability in the region and stability in BiH, and adds that everybody should start searching for common interest.

Stating that Serbia did not support the referendum in the Republika Srpska, at the meeting of parliamentary committee for foreign affairs, Dačić said that Serbia, as a country which is a guarantor of the Dayton Agreement, will respond to any threat while being able to protect itself and its interests.

Serbian and Kosovo Foreign Ministers Ivica Dačić and Enver Hoxhaj, attended the working lunch organized by Austrian Foreign Minister Sebastian Kurz.

"An important meeting with Sebastian Kurz and Johannes Hahn and colleagues from the Western Balkans to discuss issues affecting the region and Europe", Kosovo Foreign Minister Enver Hoxhaj published a photo on his Twitter account of the working lunch in New York, where he sits across from the Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dačić.

UN official learns about planned Kosovo settlement for IDPs (B92)

The concept of the Sunny Valley returnee settlement in Kosovo has been presented a UN special rapporteur.

Chaloka Beyani, in charge of human rights of internally displaced persons (IDPs) learned about the project from Dusan Kozarev, deputy director of the Serbian Government Office for Kosovo.

Kozarev also told his about "the obstacles to a greater sustainable return of IDPs," Tanjug reported on Monday.
