Odalovic: I do not rule out new provocations aimed at Kosovo Serbs (RTS, B92, Tanjug)

Foreign Ministry Secretary General Veljko Odalovic said today that Pristina is panic-stricken and does not rule out new provocations and problems for Serbs

Odalovic told Radio television of Serbia (RTS) this morning that it is evident that Albanians cannot calculate and manipulate the Serbian List, so they try in other ways.

Odalovic: No clear signal from Pristina (N1)

Belgrade does not know what Pristina is going to do in the next stage of the dialogue on normalizing relations, a senior Serbian Foreign Ministry official said on Friday.

Foreign Ministry General Secretary Veljko Odalovic said that ''it’s obvious that there is no clear signal from Pristina about the dialogue''.

''We don’t know what will happen,'' he said and added: ''We are waiting for some document and given the political climate in Pristina we don’t know what we are going to get''.

Secretary General of the Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and President of the Government's Commission for Missing Persons Veljko Odalović believes that the new Special Court will provide answers to some questions regarding the crimes committed in Kosovo, and that perpetrators will be punished, and victims and their families will get peace and satisfaction, reports daily Blic today.

The Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Serbia Veljko Odalović says that the issue of integration of judges, prosecutors and administrative staff into the justice system of Kosovo was one of the topics and serious question of "the first package of the Brussels dialogue."

The presence of Serbs in Kosovo's judicial institutions will provide a better quality of protection and justice, and for which they were sure would not have been possible without Serbs, Odalović said for RTS.

Odalović: I expect different U.S. stance on Pristina's UNESCO bid (Blic, RTS, B92)

A Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs state secretary says he expects the new U.S. administration to have "a different stance" on Kosovo's admission to UNESCO.

"I believe that with the new (U.S.) administration the situation will be different, that there will no longer be such aggressive pressure, as was probably on the agenda of the previous administration," Veljko Odalovic told the Serbian state broadcaster RTS.

Belgrade supports work of KLA war crimes court – Dacic (B92)

The Serbian government supports the work of the special court for the war crimes committed by the KLA ("Kosovo Liberation Army").

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic said this on Thursday during a meeting in Belgrade with the court's chief prosecutor, David Schwendiman.

Odalović: If Biden's message was understood in Pristina, ZSO will be formed soon (media)

President of the Commission for Missing Persons, Veljko Odalović says that the ZSO will be formed soon, if Biden's message was taken seriously in Pristina.

When asked when he expects establishment of the ZSO, Odalović said to the RTS "how Pristina works, this will last."

He says that the ZSO constitutes a "bone in the throat" to Pristina and "many others who have introduced Belgrade into a dialogue with the promise that ZSO will be formed."
