Ministry of the Interior informed that Kosovo Police will not confiscate driving licenses and other documents form drivers any more in cases when they violate traffic rules on Kosovo roads, carried electronic media.

The decision was made by the Minister Skender Hyseni. Thus, annulled an earlier decision from 19 May 2014 which provided that police could confiscate driving licenses from drivers in case of violation of the traffic rules.

Representatives of the Serbian National Forum (SNF) (an organization that gathers Serbian intellectuals from Kosovo, whose goal is to solve the problems of the Serbian community) in press release criticized the Minister Jablanović for an apology sent to the mothers of Djakovica/Gjakove. The statement, among other things says that Jablanović apologized only to mothers of Albanian ethnicity, but not to the Serbian mothers whose children "could not be buried in this town, but their bones are scattered all over the place." 

Former Kosovo MP and head of Kosovo branch of the Serbian Renewal Movement, Randjel Nojkic, who is well informed about political situation in Kosovo, particularly when it comes to Serb community, said to RTK2 that victory of Vladeta Kostic at mayoral elections in Gračanica/Graçanicë was expected.

Intention of Pristina authorities to transform Trepca complex into a public company and place it under its direct control is unacceptable for Serb MPs in the Kosovo parliament, said Deputy Prime Minister in the Kosovo government, Branimir Stojanovic.

“It is totally unacceptable for us and we’ll try in next couple days to amend the draft decision, because in this way all that is in our interest is being annulled,” said Stojanovic to TV Most.

The candidate of the Progressive Democratic Party for mayor of Gračanica/Graçanicë, Nenad Rasic,  paid a visit to villages Donja and Gornja Gusterica, Dobrotin and Livadje in Gračanica/Graçanicë  municipality, where he discussed problems entrepreneurs, pensioner and residents are faced with on a daily basis.

Rasic promised that, if he becomes the mayor of Gračanica/Graçanicë, he will promote subventions of small businesses and entrepreneurship, aiming at improving economy at the local level and creation of job opportunities.

Leader of Civic Initiative SDP Oliver Ivanovic evaluated as a positive news initiative of the Serbian president Tomislav Nikolic to present a proposal for the Kosovo issue. The discussion on the proposal will keep public attention on the issue of Kosovo and will draw the attention of the international community, who believe that Kosovo is not an important issue to the Serbs. 

A recent statement of the leader of Progressive Democratic Party and MP in the Kosovo Assembly Nenad Rasic that Serbian institutions in Kosovo will be totally abolished already in April caused a storm of comments. 

President of the NGO European Movement of Serbs and former Member of the Assembly of Kosovo Rada Trajkovic see Association/ Community of Serbian Municipalities (ZSO) only as a name: "It is important that ZSO will not integrate Serbian institutions in Kosovo system, and that its goal is the survival of the Serbian population in this region." 

Last month, Serbian President Tomislav Nikolić managed to dramatize the issue of Kosovo recognition and then to announce that he has a plan for the final solution, says analyst Dusan Janjic.

Frenchman Arnaud Gouillons, with his organization "Solidarity for Kosovo", continues to support the Serbian population.  A convoy with French aid will visit Serbian areas throughout Kosovo in the days before the New Year. They first arrived in Staro Gacko. In addition to gifts for children, families received new stoves on wood and electricity.

Kosovo parliament’s financial committee agreed to adopt the Kosovo budget for 2015 in an accelerated procedure, whereas the Serbian List announced that they will file numerous amendments due to their dissatisfaction with the draft budget proposal.
