A two-day meeting of the Technical Working Group for durable solutions of displaced persons is being held in Pristina today, it is chaired by the Kosovo Minister for Communities and Return Dalibor Jevtic. The main topics of the meeting are security, dialogue and reintegration.

In the northern part of Mitrovica, early this morning, a vehicle with Mitrovica license plates was burned. The fire spread to another car, confirmed the chief of KPS operations for north Željko Bojić to TV Most. "At 4:53 it was reported to the police station in Mitrovica that the fire engulfed a passenger vehicle owned by a Serb in Lole Ribara street. The team went to the scene, as well as members of fire fighting units that localized fire," Bojic said. According to Bojic's words the fire caused major material damage.

In the forthcoming elections which will be held on 24 April Serbia will unite, with the aim of continuing the reforms, said the Director of the Serbian Government Office for Kosovo Marko Djuric, in an interview for Alo. He added that Serbia needs strong institutions, especially in an area where our people are jeopardized – Kosovo.

In a special operation of the Montenegrin police in the vicinity of Niksic, a Serbian citizen, Zoran Vukotic was arrested on a warrant from Interpol for the crime of "war crimes against the civilian population," police confirmed to the Podgorica daily Dnevne Novine.

According to unofficial information, the red Interpol warrant, published on the official website of the international police organization, was issued upon request of UNMIK, to conduct criminal proceedings in Kosovo.

Kosovo Minister of Local Government Administration and coordinator of the management team for the establishment of the Association / Community of Serb municipalities Ljubomir Maric said that the incidents that began last year (after reaching agreement on the Community in Brussels) are receiving new forms. He added that non-Albanians, Serbs in the first place, and everything which has characteristics of Serbian, become the target of extremism which is increasingly present.

After the recently expressed controversy related to the number of citizens in Kosovo with the right to vote in Serbian elections, the President of the Republic Electoral Commission (REC) Dejan Ðurđević said that the electoral roll is the responsibility of the Ministry of State Administration and Local Self-Government. "Electoral roll should list the total number of voters without persons holding residence in certain municipalities in Kosovo and Metohija in which elections have not been carried out since the bombing," said Ðurđević.

Kosovo Customs confiscated the vehicle of the Director of the Pristina National Theatre, Nenad Todorovic in Knic village, near Mitrovica.

A press conference was organized today in Gracanica's cultural centre, in order to draw the public's attention to the daily administrative problems of Serbs in Kosovo.

Kosovo Interior Ministry confirmed that three Islamists were arrested on suspicion that they were engaged in recruitment of new members, not because of planning attacks in Serbia.

Three members of the Islamic state were arrested on the basis of operational data, which Kosovo received from Turkey and another country.

According to information Tanjug received, there was no indication that the three arrested intended and planned attacks in Serbia, as some media have reported.

Director of the Serbian Government Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Marko Djuric said that Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija should be sure that no one will abolish Serbian institutions in the province, and that it certainly will not do provincial Minister for dialogue Edita Tahiri.

"All polling centres will be opened in Kosovo and our citizens who are registered in the electoral lists will be able and should exercise their right to vote, particularly due to the special political circumstances," said the Director of the Serbian Government Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Marko Djuric. He also invited the citizens who live in Kosovo to check whether they are registered in the electoral list and to exercise their voting right.
