Federica Mogherini says she is still convinced that the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue could go on despite the current difficulties. EU's High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy said this in Brussels on Monday, Beta agency reported.
Mogherini also thinks that the two sides were able to reach a legally binding agreement to normalize their relations, but said it was up to Belgrade and Pristina, not Brussels.
Pristina's measures in Kosovo and Metohija have brought the Serbs there to the brink of a humanitarian catastrophe, Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic has said.
Serbia would make decisions on new Pristina’s measures only when and if they are undertaken, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said, Tanjug news agency reported.
Vucic added Pristina plans three new measures and none of them in the long-term is good, even for Ramush Haradinaj who is announcing them. Vucic, however, did not specify what concrete measures could be.
Moscow expects from Brussels to make Pristina fulfill its obligations deriving from the Brussels agreement and establish Community of Serb Municipalities, as well as not to patronize it, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said, Tanjug news agency reported.

Belgrade-based daily Vecernje Novosti writes today that since the EU has lost credibility as a mediator in Belgrade-Pristina talks, chances are growing for Kosovo to get back to the UN. Moscow and Beijing could negotiate about that with Washington in the coming days.
Serbian Chamber of Commerce announced it has sent a letter to the highest officials of European Union, European Commission, European Parliament and European Council, calling on them to influence Pristina authorities and help in revoking decision on introduction of 100 percent taxes on goods from Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, BETA news agency reports.
Kosovo Foreign Affairs Minister Behgjet Pacolli said he “personally does not see chances for political solution” of the Kosovo issue, and believes in “economic solution for what both sides have interests, Insajder portal reports.
According to the Serbian media, Pacolli proposes north of Kosovo to become a large economic zone, part of it would belong to Serbia, part to Kosovo, and someone else would manage that economic zone.
“I keep saying this since 2007. This is where I see solution. But maybe it is the way too soon for such ideas,” Pacolli said in an interview for DW.

Brnabic told this to the journalists in Belgrade, adding she regrets the way how certain international media interpreted her yesterday’s statement in a sense that Serbia is threatening with something.
Commenting on the announced formation of an army in Kosovo, Prime Minister Ana Brnabic said on Wednesday that she hoped Serbia would not have to use its army.

During the meeting with German Bundestag and Free Democrats' Party member Renata Alt, Brnabic said this danger was due to a series of moves that Pristina has taken over the past month.
