Djuric in Trepca with permission of Kosovo’s Foreign Ministry (Lajmi)

The Director of the Office for Kosovo at the Serbian Government, Marko Djuric, will visit today Leposavic with the permission of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kosovo.

He will be visiting the flotation of Trepca combine in Leposavic.

 Bashmir Xhemaj, adviser to Minister Enver Hoxhaj, announced the news about the visit.

Đurić with Peter Due about dialogue and the recent moves of Pristina (KIM radio)

Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija Marko Đurić met with Peter Due Director for Asia, Middle East, Europe and Latin America in the Department of Peacekeeping Operations of the United Nations, and informed him about the dialogue and the latest moves of Pristina.

Đurić said that Belgrade wants stability in the Serb-Albanian relations, because, as he said, it is the only guarantee of long-term survival of the Serbian people in the province.

Djuric: Pristina responsible for low rate of return (Tanjug)

The rate of sustainable return of internally displaced persons to Kosovo-Metohija is the lowest among all post-conflict regions around the world, amounting to a mere 1.9 pct, the head of the government Office for Kosovo-Metohija Marko Djuric said Monday.

At a meeting with Nancy Izzo Jackson, Deputy Assistant Secretary in the US Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration, Djuric expressed regret over a failure to include the return of IDPs in the agenda of the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue in Brussels.

Tahiri: Without recognition of Kosovo state, there are no relations with Serbia (Kosovapress)

Kosovo’s Minister for Dialogue, Edita Tahiri, reported today to the Kosovo Assembly Commission for Foreign Affairs.

Tahiri assessed that establishment of the relations between Kosovo and Serbia is conditioned by recognition of Kosovo state by Serbia.

Croatian ex-PM eying consulting jobs in Pristina and Tirana (B92)

Former Croatian Prime Minister and former leader of the SDP party Zoran Milanovic is offering his services as a consultant to Pristina and Tirana.

According to media reports, Milanovic wants to help them in the process of EU integration.

The Albanian language daily from Pristina Gazeta Express writes that he is currently offering his consulting services "in various South East Europe countries."

Russian Ambasador: Russia’s stance towards Kosovo unchanged (RTK)

The Ambassador of Russia in Albania, Aleksandar Karpushin, stated that Russia’s position toward Kosovo continues to remain unchanged, sticking to resolution 1244 of the UN Security Council. However, according to him, this position will not impede development of the relation between Russia and Albania. Karpushin criticized Albania for joining the European Union sanctions which according to him are anti-Russian and illegal.
