At the retrial of three Kosovo men accused of trafficking in human organs, a nurse who worked at the Medicus clinic near Pristina denied a statement she signed ten years ago about the removal of patients’ kidneys.

Mendehie Hajdari, who used to work as a nurse at the Medicus clinic until the day investigators closed it down in 2008 over the allegations of organ trafficking, appeared at Pristina Basic Court on Wednesday but retracted her previous statement to police.

The Serbian Government Office for Kosovo issued a press release yesterday strongly protesting over the legal violence against Saša Aranđelović, Dejan Urošević and Goran Savković, arrested on October 22 at Jarinje administrative crossing point due to alleged suspicion they were transporting explosive materials, TV Most reported.

Enver Sekiraqa, who is currently appealing a 37-year sentence for inciting the murder of a Kosovo Police officer, was sent back to prison on the order of the Kosovo Court of Appeals.

Enver Sekiraqa, sentenced by the Basic Court in Prishtina with 37 years of imprisonment for inciting the murder of Kosovo Police Officer Triumf Riza, was returned to prison after spending little more than a day on house arrest.

Male of Serb origin was arrested at the crossing point of Jarinje, Kosovo police said, KIM Radio reported.

The police report said Kosovo Serb was arrested on Wednesday, around 20.00 hrs, based on the order of the Basic Court in Mitrovica and was sent to the detention centre.

A Serb woman, M.T. displaced from Istok, was arrested at the same crossing point last week, under the charges that she has committed a war crime. She was placed under house arrest in the Pec Patriarchate Monstery, KIM Radio reported.

Milanka Terzic, 64 years old woman, displaced from Kosovo, was arrested at Jarinje crossing point ten days ago, when she was entering Kosovo under the charges that she has committed a war crime in 1999. Following the arrest, she was placed under house arrest for one month, in the Pec Patriarchate Monastery under constant surveillance of the Kosovo police, Politika daily reported.

Regional Police Directorate Mitrovica North would implement a special operational plan during the local elections on Sunday, 22 October with 450 police officers engaged, including entire commanding personnel, said Chief of the Regional Police Operations, Zeljko Bojovic, Kontakt plus radio reported.

Bojic also said that on-duty prosecutors would be placed in all police stations, while police officers would be present at the polling stations, as of 3.00 a.m. on Sunday, Kontakt plus radio reported.

The Kosovo Prosecutor's Office ordered Milanka Terzić, a displaced person from Istok, a measure of compulsory reporting to the police, and it allowed her to be in the Pec Patriarchate after being arrested at the Jarinje checkpoint in northern Kosovo, reports Serbian media.

The indictment against Milanka Terzić was filed on February 21st by the Prosecution in Pec because of the suspicion of allegedly committing a war crime.

Serbian media reports that last night unknown persons thrown Molotov cocktails at the billboard of the Serbian List in Leposavić.

The incident happened sometime after 9 pm. Perpetrators demolished the billboard, and then at the high speed left the scene, the media reports.

The KPS teams conducted the investigation. There are no injuries and material damage was caused, KoSSev reports.

Doctor Dragiša Milović says for Vesti portal that he is trying to reduce tension because it is about local elections. He says that he will not deal with the status, or the army of Kosovo, so that someone can accuse them of betraying national interests.

Court session on Vetevendosje MPs charged for throwing teargas at the Assembly of Kosovo failed again. The reason for these postponements is absence of Albin Kurti and Donika Kadaj Bujupi. The court had issued an order to Kosovo Police to bring the two MPs to the court by force. “The Court has issued an order for Kosovo Police to bring them in by force. Respective stations received the orders of this Court however,  we have not received so far any information if they acted in accordance with the order or not,” said judge Beqir Kalludra.
