President of the Party of Kosovo Serbs (PKS) Aleksandar Jablanovic, whose members did not attend the extraordinary session of Leposavic Municipal Assembly, nor were they consulted about that session, opined that this is a unilateral move of the Serbian List, and not the unified decision of Serbian representatives, Voice of America reports.

By latest arrest and ungrounded detention of our co-citizen Silvana Arsovic, who is known as a true friend of murdered Oliver Ivanovic, institutional violence and pressure against the Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija continue, Srpska Lista said in a press statement, RTV Puls reports.

The aim of this ungrounded arrest is an attempt to divert public’s attention from decision of the Kosovo institutions to ban distribution of goods in the north of Kosovo and Metohija, thus impairing the lives and intimidating citizens, and trying to force them out of their home places.

Mayors of the four northern municipalities in Kosovo and Metohija would resign today, Director of the Serbian Government Office for Kosovo and Metohija Marko Djuric said, according to the Serbian media.

Meanwhile, deputy chair of Srpska Lista, Igor Simic refuted this information, media continue.

“If the Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija are wondering where I am, I will only tell them I am close and that I am waiting and watching, because none of us are backing down and the victory will be ours in the end, with no doubt,“ Srpska Lista conveyed the words of its Vice-President, Milan Radoicic in a press release, which was not sent to KoSSev, the portal reports

However, Milan Radoicic confirmed himself the authenticity of this press release in a short statement for KoSSev: „Personally mine,“ – he said.

Serbian List deputy leader Igor Simic told RTS that the Serbs, arrested in a Kosovo police unit Rosu raid on Friday, are being kept in a high security prison.

Simic also said that representatives of the emergency HQ (in Mitrovica North) have spoken with the families of the four Serbs and their lawyers.

Decision of Pristina authorities to increase taxes by 100 percent for the goods from central Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, entered into force yesterday, immediately after its adoption, Serbian media report.

Representatives of Serbs from Kosovo and Metohija will discuss this with the President of Serbia during the meeting that was scheduled today. Chairperson of Srpska Lista, Goran Rakic said he will familiarize President Vucic with the situation on the ground, adding that Serbian representatives will be with their people.

By joint, committed and years-long work of Srpska Lista representatives, in particular mayors from Serb-majority municipalities, outgoing Minister for Local Governance Administration, Ivan Todosijevic and Sprska Lista MPs, all socially owned properties located in these municipalities have been transferred under municipal authority, Goran Rakic said, RTV Puls reports.

This decision would end privatization process that economically and politically jeopardized survival and remain of Serb people across Kosovo and Metohija over the last couple of years,

At today’s Kosovo Assembly session in Pristina, an incident occurred when the chair of the session Xhavit Haliti tried by deception to include the votes of Srpska Lista MPs as a support to the law on notaries, that Srpska Lista criticized on several occasions since it does not take into account interests of the Serbian people, Radio kontakt plus reported.

Srpska Lista representatives said during the meeting with US official Mathew Palmer that peace and stability are the most important and all open issues should be resolved in compromise. On the other side, Palmer noted it is important that Serbs take part in all the processes important for Kosovo, RTS reports.

Attack against Serbian believers is an example of religious intolerance, unimaginable on European soil, Srpska Lista said in a press statement in relation to the stoning of the buses with Serbs near Istok, Radio kontakt plus reports.

“Encouraged by the silence of the international community about such events, the extremists of the Albanian side continue the expulsion of anything that is Serbian in Kosovo and Metohija, Srpska Lista added.
