“Agreement of Pristina and Tirana is not naive, scandalous there is no reaction of US and EU” (Tanjug, B92, TV Pink)

Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic said the agreement on common foreign policy of Pristina and Tirana and joint embassies is not naive. She added it is scandalous that there is no reaction of the US or the EU regarding that, Tanjug news agency reported.

“It is terrible that Pristina and Tirana have signed an agreement to have a common foreign policy now. This is not naive; this is rather serious. The scandal is that we have not seen yet any official reactions either by US or the EU,” Brnabic told TV Pink.

Vucic met with Engel (RTS)

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said today he hopes messages of the US Congressman Eliot Engel in Pristina would contribute to creating conditions for continuation of dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, RTS reported. The sooner we continue the dialogue, the possibilities to reduce tensions would increase, Vucic added.

President Vucic met with the Chairman of the House of Representatives Foreign Policy Committee, Congressman Eliot Engel in Belgrade today.

Two "special members of diplomatic corps" arrived to Belgrade, another two on the way (B92, Politika)

United Kingdom and United States appointed experienced diplomats for their ambassadors to Serbia, presenting their countries in Moscow before Belgrade-based daily Politika reported.

Former Deputy Head of Mission of Great Britain in Moscow Sian MacLeod will replace Dennis Keefe on the position of Head of Mission of Great Britain to Serbia. Another "deputy" from the leading western embassy in Moscow comes to Belgrade to hold the position of the US Ambassador, Politika daily claims.

As US President Donald Trump confirmed, Kyle Scott will be succeeded by Anthony F. Godfrey.

Tanjug: Eliot Engel to visit Belgrade (Tanjug, B92)

One of the most active and “hardcore” Albanian activists in Washington, US Congressman Eliot Engel - as described by the Tanjug news agency - is set to visit Belgrade on Wednesday, the agency said it has learnt.

According to Tanjug Congressman Engel would meet Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic.

The two of them have already met in February this year during the 55th Munich Security Conference when Vucic met with the US Congress Delegation, and Congressman Engel was part of it. Bytyqi brothers case was in the focus of that meeting.

Dacic in Panama, Pristina’s lobbying centre (RTS)

Serbian Foreign Affairs Minister Ivica Dacic who participated in the inauguration ceremony of the new President Laurentino Cortizo Cohen in Panama said his visit to this country, first after many years, was very important given that he spoke with officials there about important topics, including Kosovo issue, RTS reports.

Dacic also spoke with the Vice-President of Panama, the former and the new Minister of Foreign Affairs.

New Russian ambassador: The West is pressing Serbia and supports exclusively Albanians (Beta, Sputnik, N1)

The West's pressure on Serbia is obvious, and the US and its allies are encouraging Kosovo to maintain tensions in the region, said Russia's new ambassador to Serbia, Alexander Bocan-Harchenko.

According to the Sputnik portal, he pointed out that these pressures are felt during the pre-accession negotiations that the European Union leads with Serbia, while the Americans are doing it in an even stronger way.

Serbian Foreign Affairs Minister Ivica Dacic said on Sunday the delay of the meeting of Pristina and Belgrade officials in Paris is "someone's defeat," but least of which a Serbian defeat.

US Ambassador: The US will not lead the Belgrade-Pristina process (FoNet, N1)

EU High Representative Federica Mogherini spoke with US Secretary of State Michael Pompeo on the situation in the Western Balkan.

"Mogherini and Pompeo have confirmed their commitment to a strong strategic-transatlantic partnership. They discussed key areas of bilateral cooperation and a number of important international and regional developments, including the Western Balkans, Venezuela, Afghanistan, Libya, Moldova, Russia and Ukraine," the EU Office said in a statement.

Shifts in Embassies of Russia and the United States in Belgrade (Blic)

Belgrade based daily Blic writes today about a Russian, an excellent connoisseur of the issues of Southeast Europe, and especially of Kosovo, and an American, who is appreciated as a connoisseur of Russian affairs.

These two are new ambassadors to Belgrade - Russian and American - who will soon begin their service in Serbia. Both arrive from Moscow.
