Volodin: Pristina’s raid on Kosovo’s north provocation, UN to react (N1)

Vyacheslav Volodin, the Speaker of the Russian Duma, lower house of the Federal Assembly, said in Belgrade on Monday that the “intrusion” of Kosovo’s special forces into the north aimed at frightening the Serbs, establishing control there by force, adding the Serbs could count on Russian help in future, N1 reported.

Volodin said that the UN Security Council Resolution 1244 (on Kosovo after the 1989-1999 war there) should be respected.

Vulin: Thaci's statement is the killing of dialogue (KIM radio, TV Pink)

Statement by Hashim Thaci that Community/Association of Serbian municipalities (ZSO) will not be formed is the best test for the authority of the European Union, said Aleksandar Vulin, Serbian Minister of Defense, reports KIM radio, quoting Belgrade based TV Pink.

According to Vulin, if this statement goes without sanctions, it will mean that the EU is leaving the Western Balkans both in diplomatic and security terms.

Mogherini on the developments in Kosovo, Hahn on the "attempt to unblock the dialogue" (B92, Beta)

EU High Representative Federica Mogherini says in Brussels that yesterday's events show that the status quo between Serbia and Kosovo is not sustainable, reports portal B92, quoting Beta news agency.

At a press conference on the occasion of the presenting the annual EU package on the progress of the countries of the Western Balkans, Mogherini said that she hoped the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina would be soon restored and added that she was in constant contact with both sides.

Roma leader calls Serbian politicians to include the minority in Kosovo talks (N1)

The leader of a Roma political party has called Serbia’s top officials to include the interests of the Roma national minority in the negotiations on Kosovo.

Roma Party leader Srdjan Sajn released an open letter prior to Monday’s parliament debate on Kosovo to President Aleksandar Vucic, Prime Minister Ana Brnabic and the heads of all parliament groups recalling that more than 100,000 Roma fled Kosovo.

Vecernje Novosti: ''Mogherini's suggestion to Belgrade and Pristina: Stop lobbying until a solution is reached''

According to Belgrade based daily Vecernje Novosti, the European Union's foreign policy chief and mediator in Belgrade and Pristina's dialogue, Federica Mogherini, suggested to the two parties that the Kosovo authorities first abolish the taxes on Serbian products, and then both sides to postpone lobbying until a solution in the dialogue.

Serbian government Office for Kosovo submits dialogue report (N1, Beta, B92)

The Serbian government’s Office for Kosovo submitted its report on the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue under European Union auspices to parliament on Thursday.

The 80-page report covers the 2013-2019 period and will be debated at the parliament session on Kosovo on Monday, May 27. It was made available to all MPs and the public.
