Maloku: Only Vetevendosje has moral right not to vote for special court (Lajmi)

Naim Maloku, a senior official of the New Kosovo Alliance (AKR) and former deputy leader of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), said today that the formation of the special court, which will address war crimes allegations, is a result of the failure of Kosovo’s judiciary. Maloku said that except for the Vetevendosje Movement, all parliamentary parties have contributed to this failure, and that no party, except for Vetevendosje, has the moral right to oppose the formation of this court.

Vetevendosje will vote against special court (Zeri)

The Vetevendosje Movement will vote against the formation of the special court that will address war crimes allegations in Kosovo. Vetevendosje rebels, calls for protests (Zeri)

 Representatives of Vetevendosje Movement request a massive support of all political parties, population, trade unions and other organizations in protests against bad governing of Kosovo. Vetevendosje seems to be determined to protest against the government, however, it has not set a date. Dardan Molliqaj, member of Vetevendosje, said that this movement never gave up protests and demonstrations as a form of political action and that they have never considered their participation in the institutions, as a replacement.

Road sign to greater Albania appears in Vitina/Viti (Tanjug)

A road sign listing the distances from Vitina/Viti to cities that should come under a greater Albania has been put up in the downtown of this eastern Kosovo municipality to mark the Albanian Flag Day, observed in Albania on November 28. The road sign lists the distances from Vitina/Viti to the city of Nis and Presevo in southern part of central Serbia, Ulcinj on the Montenegrin coast and Janjina in Greece. The sign was set up by ethnic Albanian Self-Determination Movement on Friday in the presence of a number of people.

Kurti: PDK-LDK coalition made to silence SHIK’s and Mustafa’s files (kohanet)

Albin Kurti, leader of Vetevendosje movement stated during a press conference held today that while reaching the agreement in principal, for the governance of Kosovo by the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK,) and the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK,) the parties did not discuss coalitions but the post of the prime minister.

“These were two bodies, one seat and no brain,” he said and added that these two parties divided the government as if by knife.

Ahmeti criticizes Mustafa over Serbian List (Telegrafi)

Pristina Mayor and Vetevendosje deputy leader Shpend Ahmeti criticizes the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) leader Isa Mustafa over his remarks for including the Serbian List in the new government. “Based on what I am reading, it is more important to include Vucic’s Serbian List than Vetevendosje in the new government. After everything that has happened in Kosovo, please do not try to convince us that this is the European path and that this is democracy,” Ahmeti writes on his Facebook account.

Mustafa: We’re faced with new circumstances! (Gazeta Blic)

AAK chairmanship deals final blow to coalition bloc?! (Gazeta Blic)

It seems that the chairmanship of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK) has dealt the final blow to the coalition bloc consisting of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), the AAK, the Initiative for Kosovo (NISMA) and the Vetevendosje Movement. The AAK issued a press release after the meeting saying that the coalition bloc would fall apart if Ramush Haradinaj is not supported as candidate for the post of Prime Minister. “The 10 June agreement cannot be held hostage by unilateral actions of any member of the coalition.

AAK agrees to nominate Isa Mustafa for Prime Minister (kohanet)

KTV sources informed that the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK,) has agreed for Isa Mustafa to be nominated as candidate of the coalition block for the Prime Minister of Kosovo.

The four leaders of the parties of the coalition will meet tomorrow morning, when they are expected to make the new agreement official, said the same sources which informed  KTV correctly when the coalition decided to give up the post of the Assembly Speaker.
