Tension in Kosovo after election of Thaci as President of Kosovo (KIM radio, B92, Politika)

The political situation in Kosovo after the election of Hashim Thaci as President has been rather tense. The Kosovo opposition, unsatisfied with Thaci's election, but also with the agreement on the establishment of the Community/Association of Serb municipalities (ZSO), announced a new demonstration.

Montenegrins want to join drafting of ZSO statute (KIM radio)

President of the Association of Kosovo Montenegrins, Slobodan Vujicic said today that in addition to the Serbian community and other communities, Kosovo Montenegrins should be involved in the drafting of the Statute of the Community/Association of Serbian Municipalities (ZSO).

Vujicic expects more defined roles for minority communities in the ZSO, considering that the municipalities that will form the ZSO, are made up of not only Serbs, but also Montenegrins, Roma and other minorities.

Djuric: Oliver is innocent (Blic)

Verdict to Oliver Ivanovic is deeply unfair. Because of it the fact  is even more apparent that even today no one has been held responsible for thousands of deaths and displaced Serbs from Kosovo.

Thus, in an interview for Blic, Marko Djuric, Director of the Government Office for Kosovo and Metohija, answers the question of where is the justice when Hashim Thaci is walking free, while Ivanovic gets nine years in prison for war crimes.

Vucic: I am not optimistic before the resumption of dialogue with Pristina (Blic)

The Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic says that Serbia is ready to continue dialogue with the Pristina authorities but that he is not optimistic because Kosovo officials are not willing to fulfil what has been agreed so far.

- I'm not very optimistic, although we will give all of ourselves ... I am not optimistic because in Pristina are not ready to meet what is the basis of the Brussels agreement - Community of Serbian municipalities - Vucic said at a press conference held in the villa "Bokeljka".

The establishment of the ZSO, an imperative for success in the normalization (Blic, Press, Tanjug)

The establishment of the Community/Association of Serbian Municipalities (ZSO) is an imperative for a success in the further normalization of relations between Belgrade and Pristina, Director of the Office for KiM Marko Djuric said on Tuesday, adding that Belgrade would impose additional pressure and that it would step up diplomatic activity to make it happen in 2016.

Maric: The draft of the ZSO statute could be available soon (KIM radio)

Maric told reporters in Belgrade, after a meeting of the Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija Marko Djuric with the political representatives of the Serbs from Kosovo, that in the coming period, he expects the decision and that he sees no reason why this should not be done in the next two to three weeks.

EU: The position of the Constitutional Court on the establishment of the ZSO must be respected (RTS)

The European Union has "taken note of the position of the Constitutional Court of Kosovo to be formed Association / Community of municipalities with Serbian majority", according to Belgrade-Pristina agreement, and stresses that "expects all parties concerned to respect that decision."

Ivanovic: O.Ivanovic: Without substantial deviation from the agreement in Brussels (KIM radio)

The leader of the Civic initiative SDP Oliver Ivanovic says that the decision of the Constitutional Court of Kosovo on the Community/ Association of Serbian Municipalities (ZSO) is worded in such a way which enables the government of Kosovo to do certain changes, "more cosmetic in nature," but he doubts there will be substantial changes on the agreed in Brussels in regards to the ZSO.

Ivanovic told Tanjug that the call of the Kosovo Constitutional Court, on the equality of all communities in Kosovo, is irrelevant.

Maric: We continue with the establishment of the ZSO (KIM radio)

Coordinator of the Management Team for the formation of the Community of Serbian municipalities, Ljubomir Maric says that the management team continues with the formation of the ZSO after the Constitutional Court of Kosovo brought the decision.

One of the two Serbian ministers in the government of Kosovo, Ljubomir Maric told Tanjug that the management team continues with activities which were temporarily suspended by interim measure of the Constitutional Court of Kosovo.

Belgrade demands full implementation of the Brussels agreements (KIM radio, TV Most, Politika, B92)

Marko Djuric says that Belgrade is demanding the full implementation of the Brussels agreements reached in talks with Pristina.

"We expect and demand full implementation of the Brussels agreements, we demand from the international community the full implementation of these agreements. Nobody asked us when that constitution (of Kosovo) was passed. We ask that the agreements are fully respected," Marko Djuric told RTS.
