Hoxhaj: PAN has numbers to form new government (Indeksonline)
Deputy leader of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), Enver Hoxhaj, said at the meeting called by President of Kosovo Hashim Thaci with representatives of political parties that PAN coalition has sufficient votes to form the new government of Kosovo. He also said PDK is ready for the Assembly’s constitutive session whenever it is announced.

Deputy leader of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), Pal Lekaj, said he regretted the fact some parties chose not to attend the meeting called by President of Kosovo Hashim Thaci. “We are sorry other political parties are not demonstrating spirit of cooperation and building of institutions”, Lekaj said adding that his party was ready for the Assembly’s constitutive session.
Vetevendosje would not vote Veseli for Assembly President (Telegrafi)
Vetevendosje MP, Albulena Haxhiu, told Telegrafi that Kadri Veseli is a divisive figure and that he is not worthy for President of the Assembly of Kosovo. She added that the Assembly President should be a personality who represents unity. She also suggested to the Democratic Party of Kosovo to consider some other candidate who is worthy of being Assembly President. “We would not vote a figure such as Kadri Veseli for Assembly President,” she said.

Kosovo Assembly should decide on the format of the dialogue in Brussels, recently continued at the presidential level, RTS reported referring to Pristina-based media reports that Hashim Thaci, with unilateral decision to meet Aleskandar Vucic breached Constitution.
After the new government is formed, Kosovo Assembly should call for a session and decide about the future of a dialogue between Pristina and Belgrade, more respectively to appoint legitimate Kosovo representatives in Brussels.

A specific feature of the new Kosovo parliament is that party leaders have made sure to also bring in their family members.
Pristina-based Albanian language newspaper Zeri is reporting this, adding that brothers Daut and Ramush Haradinaj are both now members of the Assembly in Pristina - with the latter being one of the candidates to form the next government in Kosovo, on behalf of the coalition gathered around President Hashim Thaci's party, the PDK.
Kosovo Assembly discontinues benefits for MPs (RTK)
The outgoing presidency of the Kosovo Assembly decided today to end the mandate of all MPs including all the benefits they are entitled to. Outgoing Assembly President, Kadri Veseli, said that although they had some difficult times during this mandate, the Assembly managed to preserve democracy. He said however that he would want to see more “responsible” MPs in the next legislature.
