The European Union has mediated and will continue doing so in the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue, European Parliament Rapporteur for Serbia David McAllister told the Radio Television of Vojvodina. He made these remarks after asked to comment on the EU Hight Representative Federica Mogherini statement that the final agreement between Belgrade and Pristina would have to be supported by the UN Security Council. He noted it is the most important now that Belgrade and Pristina return at the negotiation table.

Prime Minister Ana Brnabic said it is not time yet for Serbia’s stance and response to the Pristina’s platform on negotiations with Belgrade, FoNet news agency reported. Brnabic told journalists in Belgrade, it is needed to hear stances of the international actors first, foremost that of Brussels, which is a guarantor of the agreement and a dialogue. She added Brussels said nothing regarding the latest situation and considers it as improper as well as expects EU reaction.  

The head of the European Union Delegation to Serbia Sem Fabrizi did not want to comment the views of "other parties", even the stance of the US on Kosovo, he just reiterated that Brussels was committed to reaching an agreement that will be legally binding, with full normalization of relations, reports Belgrade based daily Blic.

He said, when asked to comment on a recent statement by US State Undersecretary for Political Affairs David Hale "that the US position is a mutually sustainable recognition of Kosovo and Serbia ".

Goran Vesic said the Prime Minister Zoran Djindjic, who was assassinated in 2003, would today stand with President Aleksandar Vucic. Vesic is a member of the ruling Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) Presidency and former senior official. "Djindjic would be on the side where the problems are being solved and the things he dreamed about are being done.

The Pristina platform (for the dialogue with Belgrade) is the third and final blow to the dialogue, PM Ana Brnabic told reporters on Friday in Belgrade.

Pristina should withdraw taxes (on goods from central Serbia) and enable dialogue with Belgrade to continue. Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte said this in Belgrade on Wednesday.

Speaking at a joint press conference with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, Conte was asked by Tanjug how Italy looks at the Pristina's current policy, "which is not ready for any concessions, constructiveness towards Belgrade, or toward the international community," and replied:

Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte pays one-day visit to Serbia. He has been received by President Aleksandar Vucic and Prime Minister Ana Brnabic. For the first time since taking office, Conte is traveling to the Western Balkans, and the visit to Serbia is his first bilateral visit to a European country since the beginning of the year. A ceremonial welcome for the head of the Italian Government was organized at Belgrade's Nikola Tesla airport, and in front of the Palace of Serbia. Following the meeting with President Vucic, the two officials addressed the press.

Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic commented on Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj’s statement on her visit to Pristina, saying it serves to “throw the dust into the eyes of EU and USA,” Tanjug news agency reported. She added Haradinaj is doing everything to prevent continuation of dialogue.

International research and data analysis company “YouGov” published a survey on EU countries’ affiliation towards the accession of Serbia and Kosovo to EU, Tanjug news agency reported. The survey was conducted from 17 to 27 December last year, and included 8.535 respondents from seven countries Great Britain, Germany, France, Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Norway, the latter not being the member of the EU. The results of the survey indicated that Swedish and Norwegians would like to see Serbia as an EU member, while Kosovo received no majority support in any of the surveyed countries to become
