Janjic: ZSO is possible preparation for the partition of Kosovo (RTK2)

Belgrade expects that Pristina will end post-election processes in due time, in order to enable the establishment of the Community of Serbian municipalities (ZSO), said Ivica Dacic, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia. In a statement for RTK2, political analyst Dusan Janjic said that current emphasizing of Serbian politicians that ZSO should include only Serbian municipalities in the north could mean launching of the story on partition of Kosovo.

Further European integration of Serbia is impossible until Belgrade and Pristina reach agreement, indicated Serbian experts on international issues. Obrad Kesic: Belgrade has never used all the advantages in talks about Kosovo (Danas)

As with many other issues in relation with the EU and America, the key is that government in Belgrade is determined to persist under heavy pressures from Brussels and Washington, in implementing its policy. If the Serbian government makes it clear that any pressure would be counterproductive and possibly cause consequences to the interests of the EU, especially on Kosovo and Metohija, Serbia could defend the current position - said in an interview Obrad Kesic, head of Office of Republika Srpska in USA, and former political analyst.
